Bach Rescue Remedy C/D?

Does this work?

One friend says it's a charm, whenever she's wound up - two drops under the chin and she feels herself calm down.

My boss says it's shit. She drank half the bottle and she was still climbing the walls.

What say you?

I say I have no idea what you are talking about

I'm glad you've started this thread, because I have often wondered about the efficacity of Bach's Rescue Remedy. I almost bought a bottle yesterday.

Sorry, for those who aren't neurotic/stressed/hippy/hormonal or women, introducing Bach Rescue Remedy -

I think it's about £7 CJ. I don't want to waste £7 if it does nothing.

I did actually have some once - I slipped and fell at a friend's house and disclocated my ankle a few years ago. My friend immediately gave me a small glass of water to sip, into which she had mixed a few drops of Rescue Remedy as this was supposed to help with shock. I honestly can't remember if it made me feel any better or not (I was in considerable agony at the time).

I might go and get some and try it, as an experiment. I've been a bit stressed-out just lately, and it probably wouldn't do any harm to give it a try.

Bach is a remedy, but only aurally.

Bach's Flower essences are.. huh, I dont know. I bought a bottle of "Wild Oat" essence which is supposedly gonna help you make LIFE DECISIONS but I got bored with getting it out and applying it in my water glass like a BIG MENTALIST so I stowed it away for good.

well, you can take a real drug or you can pretend some flowers are a real drug.

sunny successor (katharine), Thursday, 9 March 2006 15:00 (twenty years ago)

Well, you can get hopelessly addicted to the chemically refined extract (valium) or you can take a relatively harmless extract of the actual plant (valerium) which has similar effects, but is about 1000 times less addictive.

Go back and read the post again. Or maybe you enjoy addiction. Who knows.
