WTF happened to Jessica Lange's face? It looks like she ate a box of Botox.
David Thomson once wrote that Lange had it in her to become "the most dangerous actress in America" thanks to her performances in The Postman Always Rings Twice and Frances. Like most beautiful people she was ashamed of her looks, and except for her marvelous comedic turn in Tootsie she rarely relaxed. She was often better than the movies in which she starred (Country, Sweet Dreams, Music Box). When she won the Oscar for Blue Sky she seemed to lose most of her intensity (something similar happened to Susan Sarandon); the only recent perfs I'd keep are her turns in Rob Roy and Titus.

so any thoughts on Ryan Murphy's upcoming series Feud, on the disslike between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford - Lane and Susan Sarandon as the two leads recreating the Baby Jane filming?
Not sure if it is only set during that shoot or if it will include their history but am intrigued tho expecting it to be over the top in full-on-Murphy mode - if that serves the story or just makes it ridic, is of course up in the air
