U.S. Laws about Extra Terrestrials and their spaceships

Some people, think that Title 14, Section 1211 of the Code of Federal Regulations, implemented on July 16, 1969, which makes it illegal for U.S. citizens to have any contact with extraterrestrials or their vehicles, proves that the government is aware of aliens in our midst.

But, if you search google, like I just did you'll find that people believe this legislature was to protect us from a space plague. It's pretty entertaining either way and might be a fun timekiller for you to look up.

er, entertaining as well as somewhat frightening. For instance, if you *did* happen to get abducted and had proof, this would be grounds for you to be thrown in jail and fined $5000.

Although, I read the law was removed in 1991 (here) after the general public found out about it. Strangely, some guy made a big deal about it in 1982, when E.T. the movie came out and this is when the general public found out about it. I guess it took nine years to go through the entire system and finally be repealed/removed. For a while there, NASA had some big powers over alien encounters (though I doubt they ever used them once). I just think it's funny. More funny stuff about UFOs, remote viewing/psychic warfare, etc. can be found at blackvault.com which is a database of actual cia/fbi documents obtained via the Freedom of Information Act by some kid with too much time on his hands. If you have a fast connection, it's interesting to see these xeroxed documents online (rather than transcripted). The kid was on 20/20 a while ago with his website, so it's legit. He was the first one to really exploit the potential of the Freedom of Information Act. However, most of the stuff that you'd probably WANT to read has been blocked out with black marker for reasons of "national security". Some freedom of information, huh? Still, there's cool stuff to be read there.
