me thinks you mean why do the mormons still matter to you, no, the question means why does mormonism still matter to anthony, which may be because you grew up in it...it'sl iek why does yr family still mean something to you, even if you don't live with them anymore/get on with them.

Theres a lengthy and interesting article on Mormonism in this week's New Yorker. I'm no fan of organized religion (what a blah thing to say), but this one seems no better. The people are portrayed as being "nice", tho, which beats jerky I guess. They wield a surprising amount of political power in the US as well, which I wasn't really aware of. The Olympics will be held in Salt Lake City, so expect to see more Mormon stuff in the media.

Salt Lake City is probably the whitest, most boring city I've ever seen. Tall blondheads everywhere, and everyone talks like a fucking judge, hockey coach, or foot doctor. I didn't run into any of those "sXe" kids there but that's good because I hate them too. What a shitty town. I sort of like Low but the people that cry at their shows had better not run into me when I'm packing my tazer, because I'd LOVE to. Slobs.
