Boston FAP Thursday April 20th...

...because I'm visiting and I wanna. Which is selfish, I know. Anyway, I will be staying with the good Mr. Perry and his wife for a couple of days pre-Terrastock and we're plotting ideas for a FAP that particular evening. Over on the ILM 'ask Dan' thread he's suggested these options:

Montien is a good FAP spot; reasonably-priced, great food and drinks, often free on weekday nights, and excellently located (theatre district, corner of Tremont and Kneeland almost directly between the green line Boylston stop and the orange line NE Medical Center stops).

All of which sound more than fine by me! Further thoughts, suggestions, etc. welcomed. I'm also up for lunch on that day too -- possibly also Wednesday the 19th but as I'm taking a red-eye flight the previous evening I'll more than likely be recuperating during that day!

Okay, here's a new thought -- based on what Geeta and Dan have said, and because I love me some good Ethiopian food, dinner at Addis Red Sea looks like the place to go. After that, drinks elsewhere back in Cambridge, to help Toby's laziness. ;-) Any objections?

Yes, Perrys will be there! I suggest we meet for drinks at 6 because Joei will be at a voice lesson until 6; we can do dinner at 6:30? And let's meet in the South End because the restaurant's in the South End?

Ah good, this thread sparked up again. :-)

So yeah, as Dan sez, why not aim for drinks at 6ish somewhere near Addis Red Sea, aiming for dinner between 6:30 and 7 pm. Eric B., who posts every so often on ILM, will be making an appearance, as will Devon, who a number of us met at the last Terrastock FAP back in 2002. All others welcome, though!

I suppose the thing to do is suggest a bar to meet at before going to Addis...anyone?
