what shade of black is it now? gawd, how can you hate black? if it ain't blonde, it's GR34T!

Nathalie (stevie nixed), Tuesday, 4 April 2006 11:46 (twenty years ago)

come on, now.

get superblonde. it will take about 8 applications and your hair will go from black to rust brown to orange to bright bright yellow to not as bright yellow to pale yellow then you hit it with an ash blonde color because that gets out yellow pretty effectively and then you wait a little while and superblonde it again and it should be white and then you put whatever blonde you like over it. i suggest lightest beige blonde. oh and, after this point, don't superblonde it ever again. of course, if you just want it to be brown then dont superblonde past the orange stage because your hair will go seaweed green when you use the brown. if it does pass the orange stage, dye it red first then brown.

that said, black is always pretty shocking at first. give it a few washes. it'll tone down nicely, i bet.

stripping off the black is v. hard. If you're serious about it I would go to a salon and have it done.
