If chickenbear is a land animal, then treyf. If it's a bird, kopsher. Katie, have you eaten it yet?

I was reading about some town in Israel in a guidebook, and it was saying that it is so cosmopolitan that you can readily find non-kosher food. Which is funny, because I wouldn't have thought non-kosher food is something you would readily get a craving for. I mean, unless you were somekind of seriously hardcore porkovore couldn't you eat kosher food for the rest of your life without noticing?
