A little old man was denied access to the bus I was travelling on last night because he was carrying a tin of paint.

An unopened tin of paint.

He was at the bus-stop outside a large DIY outlet. The tin of paint had the DIY stores carrier bag tied around the handle. The little old man seemed hard of hearing and confused, the bus driver had to shout at him.

He'd got on, flashed his oap card and sat down. The bus driver had to leave his little cab and tell him to get off. The little old man didn't understand why.

"YOUR PAINT," yelled the driver, "IT'S A FI-YUR HA-ZARD! COM-PANY POL-ICY!"

The little old man hobbled off the bus and stood there, perplexed as the bus drove off.

Fuck their stupid rules! What kind of nonsense is this?

You can't take paint on the bus? WTF? What on earth am I going to do next week? Drag my paint all the way home in a shopping bag?

I'm sure you can sneak it on...

But fire hazard? I can think of any number of fire hazards that could be lurking in a shopping bag - why pick on paint?

Thopugh if he'd held a toffee apple instead of a can of paint you'd have thrown him off yourself, right, rumps?

If he had ICE-CREAM I'd have got off and walked.

Magnolia is the most common colour of paint.
