A little old man was denied access to the bus I was travelling on last night because he was carrying a tin of paint.
An unopened tin of paint.
He was at the bus-stop outside a large DIY outlet. The tin of paint had the DIY stores carrier bag tied around the handle. The little old man seemed hard of hearing and confused, the bus driver had to shout at him.
He'd got on, flashed his oap card and sat down. The bus driver had to leave his little cab and tell him to get off. The little old man didn't understand why.
The little old man hobbled off the bus and stood there, perplexed as the bus drove off.
