Baseball afternoon games

Can someone explain to a baseball dunce about afternoon Baseball games? Like who goes to these and how many people and do they scive off work or what? I quite like the idea of an afternoon drinking beer and watching baseball instead of going to work...

Sure, some people take off work to go see a game, especially since most fans will only go to a couple games a year. Other people may have work schedules that accommodate afternoons off. In most cases, the games aren't as well-attended as weekend or evening games, but in popular stadiums like Wrigley Field, there may still be a close-to-sellout crowd.

I went last week to RFK stadium to watch the Nats get pummeled lifeless by the Mets on the most perfect day of the yearshine. I skived off work. I drank many beers and ate hotdogs. Few things are as good as baseball in the sunshine.

last afternoon bosox game i went to was sox/yankees with my pop on fathers day about 10-11 years ago. sox got crushed, lost by about 12 runs. me and dad got shitty wasted and had to go to a bar so he could drink water and give him time to sober up for the drive home. classic.

No, I went thursday while the Dick was there on opening day Tuesday. a friend went to that one, was sat right behind cheney's box and spent the entire game getting wasted and throwing shit at the secret service agents. I do believe he didn't see a single pitch.
