People who steal the batteries from others' cars! Although mine was parked right next to an auto shop, luckly enough. Still, out 60 smackers and some wasted time and generally never going to park in certain areas of downtown Oakland ever again.

In my building, which has security cameras everywhere and remote access only, pro car thieves still steal stuff. Most recent: took wheels off someone's car, & stole someone else's car to transport the wheels they stole. That's such a bummer: person w/ less desirable vehicle gets it stolen anyway, just to facilitate theft of stuff thieves actually want. These people WAY worse than hippies. Like hippies could even remove a wheel in the first place.
