OMG, that is Strawberry Shortcake on there. LOL, I was so blinded by the pink that I missed that at first. I'm pretty sure Julia would dig on these. (But she's 3, and has really questionable taste.)

This thread has led me to a very dark place. BTW, the last time I got me som special agent F4 (as she will hence-forth be known), I do not recall wallowing in anything resembling the sub-nectie thighs pictured above. If you are now ill, it serves you right, you conspiring bastards (CB = CRC & D(Harshing My Buzz)P).

Thanks for the birthday-eve well-wishing. Dan, you are much better at that than I.

Three things about the pants: 1) A lot of these are really cool and fun; 2) I wore clothes almost as ridiculous as these at various points in time (looking for pictures (OK, not almost, but, like, A squad in the minor league of ridiculous, wherein the necktie outfit is a designated hitter for the majors)); 3) These pants are still very very silly.

I am remembering the time Special Agent F4 stuck her head in the microwave that wouldn't turn off. SR-C, you were effectively in loco parentis at the time. Shame on you!

See, I was thinking, crap my legs are short, I'd trip over those things in a second. I have screwed up two of my 4 limbs in less than 4 decades on this earth, I'm not ready to do it again yet!

BTW, whenever I read "raver" pants I think "Reaver pants," as in those creepy zombie things from Serenity. My friend C4rrin@ (?!) thought the same thing, suggesting that they could "blood-stained and made of something abrasive." (I'm pretty sure that conversation explains why I dreamt about zombies last night, too.)
