I remember finding George Wallace really funny on Comic Strip Live approx. 15 years ago. He had this bit where he told someone he needed to be somewhere at 5, and they slowly said "5 ... o'clock?" and Wallace said "Naw, motherfucker, 5 o'chicken!" (I dunno, that was pretty hilarious to me when I was 12.)

I thought he laughed at himself a little too much on Leno, but that was ok - the audience needed to be told when to laugh, and he was gonna sell himself if he had to.
