i just got myself a mini-itx board! i knew the dimensions when i ordered it but it's still pretty amazing to see IRL how small it really is.

i'm just putting it in a small cube case as an experiment (going to turn it into a fool-proof NES emulator thing for my mum - yeah, a bit OTT perhaps for just this purpose!) but now I'm tempted to get another one and make all kinds of case mods and stuff. (with like silent PSU and all! this particular motherboard+processor is fanless!)

mini-itx is a particular form-factor for motherboards, and its pretty small.

i modded my old case up pretty good, multiple LED case fans and a window. haven't bothered with this one.
