WD40 sip

I woke up this morning and juiced a cantelope and took a big sip of the juice before realizing on previous usage I had squirted a pretty good quantity of WD40 into the bearing of the thing that spins the strainer/cutter.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go to work, but I was wondering if anyone knows how long my mouth will taste like WD40 when I belch--I remember a former coworker told me he swallowed a mouthful of gasoline siphoning from tank to tank and the taste lingered a month.

See if a Gin & Tonic helps. Seems like it would.

Ah, I hadn't thought of alcohol. Am brushing teeth vigorously now. Serves me right for attempting such complex stuff in the morning.

you might also try oil to sort of dilute the wd-40? alcohol is a good idea, the stronger the better.

I'm going to print this out and tape a WebMD banner at the top to show boss lady. The taste is grosser than you'd imagine--it just lodges in the back of your throat.

Careful you don't drink too much water. From various suicide faqs on how to overdose on h20:

"Works by washing out the salts in your body, until the cells fail (osmotic balance buggered up). You need to keep drinking continually until you collapse. Unusual method. Someone suggested it would also cause cramps. The following is something from [2]: 'About a year ago a local newspaper carried a story about a woman who had drunk herself to death. Apparently she had ingested something mildly poisonous, and when she called her doctor asking him what to do, he told her to drink lots of water and see him in the morning. She got to it and managed to drink no less than 14 litres of water before the osmotic balance in her body was so upset it could no longer function and she died (don't know how quickly)'."

During this process, Vedas maintained that this was "usual weekend behaviour" for him and that he had consumed similar quantities of the same substances on previous occasions. The quote "i told u i was hardcore" was one of the last things Brandon ever said, and is often used on internet message boards and discussion sites to refer to this incident.

Let's hope not. Apparently the biggest risk is chemical pheumonitis, which is characterized by: unusual sensation (possibly burning feeling), in the chest, difficulty breathing, air hunger (feeling that you cannot get enough air), cough, possibly wet or gurgle sounding breathing (abnormal lung sounds). None of which are happening to me yet.
