Today I am wearing a t-shirt that says 'save me'. Predictably people keep coming up to me going 'from what?'. What do you think you need saving from? And who or what would save you?

Anna, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I need saving from myself, I'm my own worse enemy.

chris, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

y u wearin it then

XStatic Peace, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

From hopeless romantic images, sexual obsession and the people under the stairs.

What would save me? I dunno. Some self-help book maybe.

N., Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Save me, save me from the lies I've got in my mind. Cos it's hard enough to see you're good on the inside. And the leaving when it works, the hardest to time, when your dealing in the dirt and healing the blind.

You're looking down the telescope from the only end you know, where life is big and we're still close. Everybody gets another go.

Save me, save me from the lies I've got in my mind. Cos it's hard enough to see you're good on the inside. And the leaving when it works, the hardest to time, when your dealing in the dirt and healing the blind.

Wyndham Earl, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i am SO SORRY.

Wyndham Earl, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh for crying out loud.

N., Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i. Hopeless crushes and missing the point.

ii. [L]

Graham, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

If you can't answer this does that mean you're perfect or just stupid and completely fucked?

Ronan, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I saved myself at the age of twenty three.

Unfortunately I put myself in a high interest account and have been expending (with compound interest natch) at an APR of 5% ever since.

Pete, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"...from my own hand."

Also from having to go to Hamburg next week. Or rather from having to go to some disgusting business park 5 miles outside it.

Tom, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh, it was a two-part question. I don't know who could save me, I think I'm a lost cause. I love the idea of saving people though: what a soft touch I am.

Tom, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i haf cool "greys" style T w. "SAVE THE MOON" on it. My mum was upset, as she likes the moon. (Even tho she hates space.)

(Actually where is it? I haven't seen it for months...) (my T, not the moon)

mark s, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I like the idea of saving the moon. It sounds noble and romantic.

Anna, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Like Chris, I need saving from Chris. He's my worst enemy.

Tim, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tim! that's slightly harsh, true mind you, but harsh nonetheless

chris, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

It's true. You're not my enemy, merely my poisoner.

Tim, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Saving a pirate ship is better than saving the moon. I need to be saved from my lack of pirate ships.

Maria, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I have a t-shirt that says "don't bug me", with a giant insect in flares leaning against the bubble letters. I love to wear it when I'm out walking.

Kerry, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hmm...I need saving from the annoying. This will only change with more stringent admissions policies.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I can just see it now, cranky old Ned the library man picking up his cane with his cardigan on over his MBV t-shirt "WHAT IS IT NOW, YOU LITTLE PUNKS".

Ronan, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hmm...I need saving from the annoying. This will only change with more stringent admissions policies.

5 more days...5 more days...5 more days...5 more days...

jess, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Why wait? I think I'll start doing that now!

Ned Raggett, Monday, 28 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Um... is this *THE* Anna Fielding? Or has my crazy mind got the better of me yet again?

I'm willing to place a bet on the latter...

Mr Paul, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Paul? Oh my God! Unless this is a really weird co-incidence and you know another Anna Fielding. Just to check ... Codsall High School? Prince's Gardens? Um, wow, how are you? Where are you?

Anna, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

This is beautiful.

N., Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Paul? Still there?

Anna, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Princes Gardens? Oh, must be that 'other' Anna Fielding then... unless you meant Drive?

Well... hmm, "how are you" is a question and a half to be sure. Its a question that I would be ashamed to answer it honestly, but I'm still at home attempting to find some purpose to my life… blah, blah. Trying *gag* to get a job in a gallery, sorting my head out etc. Its quite strange where an interest in medium format photography will lead you nowadays.

Mr Paul, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Did you just google Anna to try and find her? Aw. BLUB!!!

Sarah, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

No, but I did it once when I was shitfaced at a friends. Who bloomin' hell are you?

Mr Paul, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Okay - I got your address wrong. Sorry. I'm living in London now, I'm a journalist. I ran into Alex Keane on Christmas Eve when I was back in Wolverhampton. He said he'd seen you, but said he couldn't remember anything because then the pair of you started talking about music.

Anna, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh, I probably asked him if he was gong to see Zero7 at the civic err, in December I think it was. Yes, Mr Prior informed me that you work for Mixmag, but that was nearly a year ago now.

Mr Paul, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm Sarah! Who are you!

Sarah, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My name is quite obvious. Hello, nice to um, meet you.

Mr Paul, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

And you too. Awww it's nice to make fwends!

Sarah, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Paul check your e-mail.

Kondashi, that is beautiful.

Nicole, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

This thread is just full of beauty.

Tom, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

But not enough booty.

Emma, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"American Booty" - starring Annette Boning, Sora Cucci, and Kevin Spearme.

Dan Perry, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Do I even need to say it, Dan?

And yes, a beautiful thread. :-)
