so, i'm temping for a few weeks until my new job starts up proper. it's shit. sat opposite the dullest guy i've ever met. me, him and his black rotting teeth. i'll go into more detail on the annoying co-workers thread. there's also no internet. it's just us two. i've been there two days and i can't take it no more.

it's mind-rottingly simple work so i can easily do other stuff at the same time. conversation is a no-no as i don't care about the new x-men film and he doesn't care about the new pet shop boys album. my plan is to take a usb stick into work (the floppy and cd drives are disabled) chock-full of lengthy articles about uh, inneressin stuff. i've already pillaged the 'questions' bit on b3ta, raided the film & music archives of the guardian online, got a few things from improveverywhere.com, c&p'd a few of the bigger ilx threads (the bb ones are a life-saver) but i know there must be more out there, can anyone help?

i'm thinking resubscribing to rocksbackpages.com again purely for this but i'd like to hear of any free ones first.

thanks in advance.
