why doesn't the woman just keep the cat inside all the time? far less cruel than capital punishment.

Miss Misery xox (MissMiseryTX), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 12:01 (nineteen years ago)

we have a tabloid story about this cat pinned up on the kitchen wall; he resembles my moggy somewhat...

Liam Gallagher is a six toed cat!

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 12:51 (nineteen years ago)

Ah so that's his problem, he's never been fixed.

The Mercury Krueger (Ex Leon), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 12:52 (nineteen years ago)

OMG if my mother ever sees this, her phobia of cats will so be reinforced. (Good thing she doesn't use the Internet and she still can't turn the television on easily... she'd never come to my house again.)

Sara Robinson-Coolidge (Sara R-C), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 12:53 (nineteen years ago)

He will not retreat !!!

ZOT! (davidcorp), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 12:56 (nineteen years ago)

Why oh why can't I find a picture of the Beryl Cook cat from Seven Years and a Day? I loved that book.

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 13:08 (nineteen years ago)

"He attacks from the back," Kettman said Monday.

Dan (HAWTT) Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 13:09 (nineteen years ago)

Why doesn't this idiot just keep her cat indoors instead of spending thousands of dollars on lawyers? Christ.

Allyzay Rofflesbot (allyzay), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 13:10 (nineteen years ago)

latebloomer (latebloomer), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 13:12 (nineteen years ago)

they do stuff like that

i am not a nugget (stevie), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 13:28 (nineteen years ago)

the cat was on prozac?? you'd think this would be sign enough that your cat is a bit nuts and you should keep him inside and away from other people at the very least, yeah.

A former (short-term) roommate of mine had a nutjob cat who attacked me several times over the course of a few months - at first i was like, okay, he's not properly socialized, he'll be okay soon, but he never became "okay" and actually jumped on my back, all claws out, when i was sitting on the floor hanging out with one of my cats. holy shit. in my shock/pain/anger, i actually pulled him off and threw him across the room and wished him dead. so i can see how people who've been attacked by a cute widdle pussycat aren't exactly "understanding" about the whole thing.

that article is pretty funny though. but seriously, cats are sharp!

Dan (Evil Fucking Catface) Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 16:11 (nineteen years ago)

i have had to sleep overnight in a house with a psycho cat - named Spike - and there is no way to overestimate how fucking scary it is to deal with one. it's like you're suddenly in a horror movie. and it's not so much the actual danger - i came away only with some deep punctures in my foot and toes - as the potent HATE and ANGER emanating from these things; this cat seemed literally to be possessed by some malignhant spirit whose only aim was to get revenge on all living things. it was horrible. for WEEKS afterwards i subconsciously avoided all domestic animals on the street, in peoples' houses, etc.

Mr Jones (Mr Jones), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 17:03 (nineteen years ago)

Why do they make such a big deal about him having six toes? Either lots of cats have six toes or I just have a special freak cat magnetism.

-- Sarah McLusky (x77tigersxu...), May 24th, 2006.

exactly, my kitty has six toes! she is definitely not an attack cat though.

latebloomer (latebloomer), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 18:02 (nineteen years ago)

This is the first I've ever heard of six-toed kitties!

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 18:04 (nineteen years ago)

its very common among cats, actually

latebloomer (latebloomer), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 18:05 (nineteen years ago)

My friend's cat has 28 toes, for realz.

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 19:27 (nineteen years ago)

On one paw????

Dan (Ew) Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 19:29 (nineteen years ago)

SEVEN TOES PER PAW

I would sell my car for a 112-toed cat.

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 19:30 (nineteen years ago)

My cat has the polydactylism thing on the front paws, but they are positioned like little rudimentary thumbs -- on occasion, I have even seen him use them to pick up little cat treats. It's evolution, happening before my very eyes.

elmo argonaut (allocryptic), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 19:34 (nineteen years ago)

Also, he gives out mixed signals," Kettman continued. "He would sidle against you and purr. You bend down to pet him and he'd attack you."

haha has this person ever actually encountered a cat before?

J.D. (Justyn Dillingham), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 20:16 (nineteen years ago)

as far as i know most cats don't attack by sinking their inch-long claws knuckle-deep into your flesh and yowling, which is exactly what Spike does to everyone who comes near him, after, of course, purring and rubbing against their legs. that cat is pure fucking evil.

Tracey Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 21:47 (nineteen years ago)

Did Spike ever break into your room at night and stick his smelly ass on your face as you slept? Because if not, there's no way that he could be as evil as Simon, the cat I used to live with.

Dan (Grrrrrrrrr) Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 21:49 (nineteen years ago)

Simon also scratched the SHIT out of my wife's arms when she tried to move him off my bed one night, to the point where 10 years later she still has a scar. Fucking cat.

Dan (Also He Was FAT) Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 21:52 (nineteen years ago)

Maybe cats shouldn't get names like Simon and Spike, did you ever think of that?

Allyzay Rofflesbot (allyzay), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 21:53 (nineteen years ago)

Yes. I've also thought that cats shouldn't weigh 35+ pounds.

Dan (Fat Bastard Cat) Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 21:54 (nineteen years ago)

yeah, exactly, my cat does the same thing! they're the next generation.

Tracey Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 22:05 (nineteen years ago)

i mainly have scratch scars from our evil lovable dog, who would have his nails filed repeatedly, then quickly rough them up w/in a day's time.

he also liked to climb on you when you were napping, all 80 lbs of him, and try to eat your ears.

Dan (Ass-Kicking In T-5 Hours) Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 22:12 (nineteen years ago)

Dan, Spike did not stick his ass in my face that because the door to the bedroom me and the lovely Emma B stayed in that night was shut tight and LOCKED, the moment we got into it. we didn't even brush our teeth because we didn't want to go back out there.

Tracey Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 22:12 (nineteen years ago)

Allyzay Rofflesbot (allyzay), Thursday, 25 May 2006 13:33 (nineteen years ago)

FB, did you meet Simon when you came out to visit me? Gigantic fucking cat with boundary issues? Owned by my bisexual redhead roommate Sus4n? Actually I don't think Simon and I had had our falling out during the time frame that you came to visit so maybe I wasn't telling everyone how he was EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL and must be stopped at the time.

Seriously, anything that puts its ass on my face without my express consent must die.
