A thread to discuss / comment on / link to / alert to World Cup Guides

No doubt all the weekday newspapers / saturday & sunday papers will overload us with World Cup specials: supplements / wall charts / guides etc. over the next week or so

Which are worthwhile and ones to avoid ?

Yesterday: Evening Standard presented the World Cup "the Ultimate Guide"

This Sunday: Observer Sports Monthly is a World Cup special

Next Monday: The Guardian have a 100 page Guide to the World Cup. promo website:

Shoes! Good for cut-out pics, I guess, but really.

Still, not bad, but are there any with more details on squad members?

Online:

Download a guide in iPod notes format

Blog:

World Cup Blog – individual blogs for each of the 32 teams. Been pretty good in the build-up for tricky to find Angolan news.

Guardian World Cup blog – links focused.

BBC World Cup blog – bits and pieces written by BBC staff.

Daily digests:

The Guardian's Fiver and Five Live's rival, Five Live Wire

Podcasts:

The Guardian, again. Hosted by James Richardson. Going daily once the tournament starts.

Any others?
