i got a great fake swiss army knife thing from the 99p shop near me, and it hasn't broken yet. It claims to have 37 uses, but has only 14 attachments.

In the county I live in, we don't have an honest department store. Just the Dollar/99 variety which speaks volumes about our demographics. I actually got a few decent classical cds outta one of them.

I used to work in a 99 cents store. It was called "Everything 99 Cents." People would carry merchandise up to the counter and ask, "How much is this?" My answers would vary from exhaustedly repeating the name of the store to "Five dollars." You would be surprised how many people are willing to fork over five bucks for foam rubber bath mat in the shape of a giant foot.

haha that reminds me of this 99p store that was definitely DISHONEST because there were things in that that costed £2!!!!!!!!! wtf! it was like things that aren't labeled were 99p (and no peeling off the label doesn't work)
