Fall TV previews

NBC have short clips of their new fall shows up. "30 Rock" w/ Tina Fey (did she leave SNL??) and Alec Baldwin looks like its got potential. "20 Good Years", on the other hand, scares me. Why would Jeffrey Tambor team up with John Lithgow. Its so wrong. I'm going to be really mad if I start hating Hank.

Also, does this mean Arrested Development is really done? I thought there was talk of another network picking it up?

John Lithgow is terribly over-the-top. Loved him in Buckaroo Banzai, but I don't think he's gotten a laugh out of me in ages (he was terrible in Orange County). Tambor, on the other hand, can get pretty "actory," but is always enjoyable to me.

And Arrested Development is officially dead. There were talks of Showtime picking it up, but only if Mitch Hurwitz (the creator) stayed on, and he declined. So that's it.

RJG is often right about things, but he has taken the wrong side in the Tambor vs. Lithgow blood feud.
