THEN YOU TOO KNOW THE JOY IN MY HEART

That's quite enough.

A wonderful piece of garbage. He produced the first Pink Floyd album, y'know. ;-)

I don't think I've heard this song. Is it anything like Peter Cetera's "Glory of Love"?

Tadeusz Suchodolski, Tuesday, 29 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I've heard it, and it's OK. But I've also heard his "Don't Let It Die", which is magnificent. That's the one you want, Pennysong.

is there the lyric "what would you say if I tripped you over, just to help you get up again" or something to that effect?

Hey, this came up on ILM a while back. Not only was he Norman Smith (Pink Floyd, Pretty Things producer and Beatles engineer), but he played trumpet in The Teardrop Explodes brass section. He's on most of the Kilimanjaro and Wilder era stuff. He also played live with them.

"Don't Let it Die" was his best single IMHO.

Tonight - a spin of Piper At The Gates Of Dawn and/or SF Sorrow, and a glass raised in his honour.

I never knew until recently that Baron Saturday was a voodoo deity, a loa.
