So, art, or pr0n? Or both? Does it matter? Who gives a fux0r anyway? I have "Erotica Universalis" which is aspprox 2/3 grate, esp the pic of rembrant's wife having a pee. (vol 1 - vol 2 sux0r) and had a big book of Tom of Finland, which was. like awesome. They have some good art boox, fairly cheap (tho not as cheap, or as good as Dover Press, whose Prints on the "Carcieri" are V nice, and who made nice books of Mucha pics also)
Re-Search, OTOH, has many books full of interviews w/mentalist old skool INDUSTRIALISTS, esp "Thee industrial Kultur Handbook", "Pranks" and that bible of the oldstyle shaven headed noise goth, "Modern Primitives". Well do I remember the pics of the front cover of "PFIQ". Yowch.
I'm going for Re-Search, because there are great interviews w/Mark Pauline, and they did a special issue on J G Ballard, who r0x0r. The lights are on chez Phay tonite, but no-one is at home, so you can fill in gaps etc as U please.

Oh, and for U industrial noise-niks,
here is a demo of a new synthsiser I'm buying. (1.5mb MP3. It's worth it!)

norman is otm about ballard, which is the only re:search i own. very
nice, but the interview is very funny/insightful in a "things which
seemed terribly important in 198whatever but never turned into much
of anything." i mean, video magazines?!
also about the dover art books. dover is great and CHEEP for
anything in public domain. in nyc there is a dover store, which has
all of their books in this teeeeeny little office in an unassuming
office building.

I think I'd have to go for Dover as well. Art that's cheap = good.
Taschen = upscale minimalist market; ReSearch = punks who have
discovered Throbbing Gristle. Both work.

That synth looks like a monster, I'm confused enough with my Korg to
even want to go within 500yds of that thing.
