Hmm, HTML failure there.

"Royal Mail, the Royal Mail Cruciform, the colour red and SmartStamp are all registered trademarks of Royal Mail Group plc."

you can copyright a particular formulation of pigment. you can't copyright frequencies of visible light rays. which defn of color are you getting at, here?

it's like, you can't copyright a flavor, but you can copyright the formula of your soft drink.

Which definition? Well, the Royal Mail appear to believe they own the colour "red"!

You can copyright a colour, inasmuch as it's used in business logos. So whilst the Royal Mail can't ban somebody from painting their house that particular shade of red, they could prevent rival companies using the shade as part of their branding.

I remember around the time Purple Haze came out, Cam'ron was talking about inventing a new colour so he could copyright it, and then when people bit his style they'd have to pay royalties. I'm still disappointed the new colour never materialised.

International Klein Blue, bitches! Looks best when you toss your naked, paint-covered body at a canvas.

True indeed. Flamethrowers add a nice touch as well.
