to GREG needlz/ (tollbooth willy) if you are still around, i need help..... for secretive reasons i need to know the following:

How many Hz in a conventional musical Octave.

How can i express Sound energy in units of JOULEs... Does sound even count as energy?

IF everything in the world is trying to reach equilibrium, then shouldn't there be Anti-Sound?... i know sound cancellation occurs, but that doesn't explain it fully enough...

Of course sounds counts as energy! It consists of air vibrations...

How many Hz in a conventional musical Octave

You raise a note by an octave by doubling its frequency. Therefore the std. A is 440Hz, and an octave above is 880Hz and an octave below is 220Hz. This is why the 12th fret on a guitar should be exactly half way down the string.
