I ate a whole quiche on my own last night! Bring on the gaybies!

(I don't quite get the bit about the immune reaction to a 'foreign' foetus, though. Isn't a female foetus equally foreign, as in either case 50% of the DNA comes from the father? Possibly I have forgotten my GCSE biology though.)

y'know this would make sense if you looked at it from the standpoint that the aging mother would like one of her younger ones to look after her rather than run off and reproduce.
