No way, not even close! The winner would have to be some Anthro department where the luck of the draw has provided zero totally hot tanned chicks and a full roster of super-nerd dudes with too-short shorts, plaid shirts, weird wide-brimmed hats, huge beards, pony tails, thick glasses and sunburns.

I guess those dudes would mostly still be students though, not faculty, even though they're usually like 45 years old.

There's no such thing as a sexy economist.

Nah, I think Ath wins. The guy in the middle is maybe a 6, and the two girls are 5s.

Oof... Academics usually have other things to cultivate than appearances (except the French ones). If you'll remember, theres the Platonic tripartite model of the soul that's pretty sensible: appetitive urges, desirious urges and rational urges. But the rational component rules them all.

That's all baloney, though! I had some hot professors at some time... I must have.

The website of my college's anthropology department says (on the students and alumni page):

"Road less traveled department. Enough of grad school and professors of anthropology or sociology! For news of an ANSO alum who is exploring an entirely different career path, check out the recent column by Liv Osthus '96 in the New York Times. (If the Times takes the column from its site, you can read an archived copy here.) Liv, now based in Portland, Oregon, has made a living as an exotic dancer (stage name: Viva Las Vegas) and sex columnist in various online publications--to which you'll be able to Google your way without ANSO's help."
