WTF I am a cow compared to these women.

Kerry, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

If I start taking more fine art classes, I will need to know the special Artist Woman diet, apparently.

Kerry, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

they are still taking classes = they are not yet artists

mark s, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I am talking about famous women...all of them. Not a fatty among them, or even a size 8.

Kerry, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

because they are women artists, they don't get paid equally to men, therefore they spend all of their not-so-much dollars on black dresses, getting dolled up for art openings to impress and not having any to spend on food afterwards - you evah tried to get aft on chapagne and canapes?

goeff, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

blimey geoff some months i live entirely on the freebie food at film screening rooms (= can-o-peas w.admittedly white wine not champagne) and — as ed so kindly pointed out recently — i am far from petite

i am still not sure i accept kerry's assertion, but apart from my fwend T (who = also not petite) my knowledge of art ends w.rolf harris = world's gratest painter...

THE SAD THING IA , WATCH ALLY SHEEDY IN HIGH ART, THE FEMALE SACS OF THE FRONT AREA ARE QUITE NON VOLUPTOUS, THE PRICE OF TEH SKINNY WAY

Mike Hanle y, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I will be haunted by the phrase "female sacs of the front area" until my dying day.

Dan Perry, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

A further sign that Hanle y Deus thrives.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

" AH-LAY-LEW-YA"

Mike Hanle y, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Kerry: larger female artists include Jenny Saville (see self- portraits), Rachael Whiteread, Barbara Kruger and more I could name but who are not as famous.

suzy, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I've never met a) a famous artist b) a nonskinney artist male or female.

Mr Noodles, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

because people think you're going to be an artist if you're skinny

maryann, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

if you're fat they think you're going to be an internet forum regular

maryann, Wednesday, 30 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I am sure it has something to do with excessive paint sniffing, just like models who smoke to keep their weight down...

people who frequent internet forums cant be really fat because they seem to be able to press individual keys

Menelaus Darcy, Thursday, 31 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Artists burn off calories in fidgeting nervous energy.

N., Thursday, 31 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I think instead of eating, they paint.

Gale Deslongchamps, Friday, 1 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Maybe they eat paint?
