they [or at least this] provoke[s] a thousand [or at least eight] questions.

here is a lovely photo of roger mcguinn & tony blair.

what is roger writing on?

assuming he is making an autograph; do you think he got tony's autograph too?

where is this? a political conference? a musical...thing?

does this mean roger LIKES tony?

the traffic behind them: stationary/moving?

why is tony's shirt so stupidly creased?

why is tony's face so stupid?

will my next train be running?

I'm not sure what I'm actually asking. hi.

Here are the answers: Roger is autographing one of his limited edition calendars for Tony because Tony is a big fan of his work. Later on Roger asks Tony to sign his T shirt, but Tony cannot find a pen, and instead uses one of Cherie's lipsticks. It is neither a musical or politcal conference, but a chance meeting, the kind that happens only occasionally. I suspect however that it was somehow engineered by the press, because how else did the photographer get there so quick? They must have some motive for this odd coupling and I shall be keeping an eye out. Roger likes Tony a lot, despite Tony's desire to kill politics. Roger respects Tony for his unswerving dedication to inadvised fashion statements, like the Indian garb he and Cherie were recently spotted in. The traffic is moving, but will magically not hit the Roger and Tony because they are both Very Important People and traffic respects that. OK? Tony's shirt is creased because it's new and he was in a rush, because he woke up late and Cherie had already left and he couldn't find the iron (Later tonight he will return home to discover the iron suspended from one of the trees in the garden of Number 10 by the flex. The older kids will blame it on Leo. Tony's face is stupid because if you look closely at anyone they have stupid faces. Your train will be cancelled, mening you sit for hours on a bus that is warm and has condensation on the windows which will make your sleeves wet. You are writing this because you are bored. I am writing this because I am bored. I apologise for any distress caused.

thank you.

but I'd like to see you try to explain this as easily.

Now! There's a lovely sundiallist! I never knew that was a word. Notice how the taller boy on the left in the first picture has lost his face. I too cannot think of anything about this photo. Why are you finding so many pictures of Our Lord Tony? I have to go now. I'm in the wrong county.

Tony is clearly saying "Ow! My eye!" in the photo on the left.
