OK, i'm bringing out some nibbles now - kettle crisps, mini poppadums and some olives, please spit the stones in the correct receptacle.

Thanks...I needed one. I do love champagne but it does give me a headache. Especially when mixed with vodka. What was that sound Snoopy used to make? Bleagh?

Anyway i did have a nice one, my new b-b-q - (a big old school Weber) was a marvel, the kids didn't get too out of hand and I got me the new Douglas Coupland.

It's that time again. I have just supped on Pedigree and eaten the most delicious sausage ciabatta with onion marmalade I have ever had at this place here.

This year I'm going to be all albout fine wines, starting with a 2004 Clos de la Roche...hmmm...excellent. What you having?
