i am guessing it is a dead pixel, rather than just dust on the lens. it's a tiny white dot that appears in every photo - very tiny, you won't see it until you blow up the picture into big size like 1600x 1200 or soemthing. i suppose it's easily photoshoppable if i'm ever to print out those pictures in proper resolution (which is rare)

Maybe you can revive it by smashing on the heart of the camera!

the screen?

I remember reading the warranty for my computer, once, (don't know why) and there was something about LCD screens and how more than a certain percentage of the pixels must be dead for it to qualify for repair

good luck

archer mcclean to thread.

(have you been taking pictures of lightning or any other natural/artificial electric phenomenon? as this can cause temporary dead pixelage, which will revive themselves in a few days/weeks. archer mcclean did this while making sound FX for some late 80s Atari ST/Amiga game or other)

mmmm maybe?? i've been taking some pictures of the sun...

i've noticed it from pictures back from last saturday, i'll check other ones!

at first i thought it was the LCD screen of my laptop - but then it turns out to be the camera, i guess it's better in a way cos the camera's cheaper... but.. :(

Sounds more like the ghost of a dead pixel.

see i didn't even ever think that cameras can also have dead pixels (seems more obvious when i think about it now). i wonder if it's always had it and i just never realised.

xpost lol
