Why does everyone have against Ash and Pikachu?

What do you have against Ash?

You say he is stupid...
Well he ain't, he probably isn't a genius on every subject but his subject
pokemon he has some good knowledge on. Infact, ask yourself why would a
Doctor want to know about journalism, so why would a pokemon trainer want to
know everything else..He has a pokedex also, so he don't need to know
everything.

He is stupid,geeky,uncool....

Ash is a 10 year old, don't compare him to more mature Brock...If you think
he is stupid because he does'nt evolve pikachu into a raichu..He let Pikachu
decide, Pikachu wanted to stay Pika. Ash is not geeky in his own world, the
Mr.Moon scientist was geeky.

Pikachu is weak...
Well in his own rank he is not weak..Raichu is stronger but people who are
not power crazed perfer the cuter , funnier Pikachu..Imagine all the scenes
of Ash and Pikachu talking....i.e...Pikachu do you want to fight? Chuuu..or
Pikachu's goodbye..Ash:Pikachuu!
Pikachu: Pikaaa Pi

Now imagine those scenes replaced by the phrase Raiiichuu..remember Raichu
can't talk cute or quiet..just big,mean and tough. It just would'nt work.

In conclusion, you people can think anyway you want,its a free country, but
I wanted to know and express my beliefs on Ash and Pikachu!

May I take this opportunity to point out that yesterday I bought POKEMON COLESSEUM (sp?) for the GAMECUBE. It is kind of rubbish, but in a way, slightly great too (ie I played it for two hours and only stopped because it was midnight and I hadn't sorted out records/had bath - OK OK BIG BROTHER WAS ON, WHAT OF IT)! 3D pokéfights will probably end up getting lumbering IF there is only a limited set of pokémon. There is some ridiculous gas about shadow pokémon - their hearts have been artifically closed OH NOES and you have to care for them by er... MAKING THEM FITE hurra hurra!!

Actually I will do a bigger review of "Pokémon So Far" on FT.

By the way the worst thing about the Pokémon chronicles is the other trainers - TRACEY for crying out loud? BLAH.

Also, I think all the new Pokémon might be - dud.

However, I did catch a CROCONAW yesterday. Well, technically I snagged him but...

OMG ALSO in some of the later Pokémon eps they get rid of Jesse and James in favour of Butch and Cassidy ARGH! Meowth that aint right. However, MmmmmmmISTAY (omg I miss you SM:TV) is still great, there is a good ep where she returns home to Cerulean gim and has to fite to control a rampaging Gyrados.

I'd say, sophisticated... I don't know about prettiest! This is if we are talking Classic Pokémon, otherwise Plusle is like an even cuter but not as twee Pichu/Pikachu, and then there's your Delcatty and whatnots.
