How much did Blair know, if he's implicated will it end in a Nixon style impeachment? If others have acted without his knowledge will he come out of it smelling of roses a la the Dr David Kelly inquest?

My guess is it will be very hard to secure a conviction here.
The chargeable offence is contained within very old law for one thing, 80 years or so. (Not that I've read it. If anyone is familiar with the Act, quote away.)

The Attorney General has obtained an injunction against the BBC to stop it broadcasting an item about the cash for honours investigation. The injunction was obtained on Friday night at a hearing which lasted around two hours at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. Lord Goldsmith's office said he had acted "completely independently of government" on the matter.

An OBE for Kylie - and arise, Sir Parky
One of the best things David Cameron could do would be to propose to abolish the honours system.
Blair has yet to issue a resignation honours list. Are they having a laugh?

Dame Penelope KeithKeith said of her honour: "It's the big one. I had already got an OBE and then a CBE, so I don't know what is better than the icing on the cake - but this is."
