Here is an interesting idea to do with open-sourcing things which are not computer programs. Is this really as revolutionary as they say? What exactly is the difference between re-writing an article and just commenting on it? Can you even apply the idea of open-source software to anything else? If you improve on a piece of software, that's one thing because people can use it and learn from it, but what is the point of improving on things like essays?
