What has happened to U.S. and World Opinion

                                                SINCE the attacks?



     Immediately AFTER the attack, public opinion was turned 180 degrees. 

Now

the Arab countries are being demonized, the U.S.

     population is overwhelmingly backing the President (according to the

Washington Post), urging him to punish, kill, destroy, annihilate

     the perpetrators of this crime, even though no one really has any proof 

who

did it, the U.S. government is preparing for war, the U.S.

     and Israel have carte blanche support to bomb nearly every Arab country 

out

of existence.



     No one is questioning anymore the "apartheid" policies of the Israelis

against the Palestinians. War, as politicians have

     known throughout history, stimulates the economy and (if the propaganda 

is

handled properly) unifies the population behind the

     President and squelches ALL criticism.



     Anyone who is not 100% behind the President is considered a traitor.

President Bush in a televised Speech to Congress,

     urged global support for his war on terrorists, warning the world: "either

you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." (Washington

     If you don't go along with the plan for destruction of the Arabs advocated

by the government, you become the target of threats and

     must have bodyguards, as California Democrat Barbara Lee has 

discovered.

She cast the lone vote in Congress against the use of

     military force in response to the WTC/Pentagon attacks and now must 

have

     "Americans support stronger anti-terror ties with Israel," announced the

Jerusalem Post (10-4-01). "Nearly 75% of Americans

     favor either strengthening ties with Israel or maintaining the current

relationship. . . Almost as many Americans (82%) agree that

     Israel should do 'whatever is necessary' to root out terrorism as those 

who

believe that the U.S. government should do 'whatever is

     necessary,'" according to a poll conducted under the auspices of - - - -

-The Institue for Jewish and Community Research - - - -

     (Could this poll possibly be biased?).





                              What ELSE has happened since the attacks?





     1) The population has been prepared for a long term war where the 

number of

U.S. casualties will be high (Washington Post

     Online September 21, 2001).



     2) Bush creates a High Office of "Homeland Security" supposedly to protect

Americans from attack. The job would involve

     coordination of government-wide domestic security efforts, including

meshing domestic FBI and foreign CIA intelligence, working

     with U.S. military, emergency officials and state and local governments

under the umbrella of FEMA, the Federal Emergency

     Management Agency, the organization specifically set up to oversee 

Martial

Law when it is openly declared.



     The Homeland Defense position "would probably not need Senate 

confirmation,

which other Cabinet jobs require, nor legislation to

     create" White House officials said. So there would be no investigation,

oversight nor accountability for this person. (Reuters -

     3) U.S. orders 40 million doses of smallpox vaccine for $343 million in

preparation for a possible bioterrorism assault. The

     contract has been given to a small, Cambridge-based firm, Acambis, a

British biotechnology company who reported a net loss of $8

     million in the six months prior to June 30, unchanged from last year. (How

convenient to get this huge order! It would be interesting to

able

to spy on Internet users legally without a court order.

     Two days after the terrorist attack, the Senate approved the "Combating

were planning to hijack commercial aircraft to use as

     weapons to attack important symbols of American culture, according to a

story in Germany's daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeiung

     2) U.S. planned to attack Taliban BEFORE WTC/Pentagon Attacks: A former

Pakistani diplomat has told the BBC that the U.S.

     was planning military action against Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban

     Pakistani Foreign Secretary, was told by senior American officials in

mid-July that military action against Afghanistan would go

     3) Expert - Russia Knew In Advance...Encouraged Citizens to Cash Out

Dollars:

     Russian press accounts and other activities by the Russian government 

this

summer indicate that the Russians knew in advance that

     something would happen to America, including a "financial attack" against

the U.S. During the past three months, Russian media

     and officials have encouraged citizens to cash out of U.S. dollars pending

an economic collapse there after an "attack."

     4) FBI tracked man in custody 2 weeks before attacks: "Two weeks before 

the

terrorist attacks in New York City and

     Washington, D.C., FBI agents were at a flight school in Oklahoma asking

questions about a man now suspected of having a link to

     "The fact that FBI agents were at the Airman Flight School in Norman,

Oklahoma, two weeks before any attacks would seem to

     contradict the agency's assertion that it was not aware of any connection

between aviation schools and suspected

     terrorists. FBI Director Robert Mueller has stated publicly, "There were NO

warning signs that I'm aware of that would indicate this

     5) U.S. Pulled Plug on 500 Arab/Muslim Websites the Day BEFORE Jetliner

Attacks: Five hundred websites - many of them

     with an Arab or Muslim connection - crashed when an anti-terrorism task

force raided InfoCom Corporation in Texas. The 80-strong

     task force that descended upon the IT company included FBI agents, 

Secret

Service agents, Diplomatic Security agents, tax

     inspectors, immigration officials, customs officials, department of

     6) U.S. was warned in 1995 of plot to hijack planes, attack buildings: The

FBI was warned six years ago of a terrorist plot to

     hijack commercial planes and slam them into the Pentagon, The CIA

     7) "U.S. Government Had Prior Knowledge of Emergency: The most 

massive

     employees received text messages warning (notifying?) of an attack on 

the

World Trade Center two hours before the event occurred.

     10) Did Israelis Have Foreknowledge? Suspected Israeli Agents Held by 

FBI:

"At least three different groups of Israelis --

     some of whom may have ties to Israel's intelligence agency, the Mossad --

were taken into custody after eye-witnesses reported

     seeing them videotaping the initial kamikaze attack on the World Trade

Center in New York, and then celebrating with joy and

     mockery." The "Israeli tourists" were found carrying maps linking them to

the blasts and other incriminating evidence. (American

     Free Press, 10-1-01) Other "illegal immigrants" arrested reportedly worked

for an Israeli-owned "moving company" based in New

     Jersey.



     American Free Press has received additional reports that one of the 

largest

Israeli-owned moving companies in the area, Moishe's

     Moving Systems, in Jersey City, has "at least 100" young Israeli men,

between the ages of 22 and 35, working in what is described

     as a "fortress" with covered windows and concertina wire surrounding the

premises near the entrance to the Holland Tunnel."



     11) FAA Warned of Violent Suspects Travel: "Two weeks before the Sept 

11

attacks on the United States, The Federal Aviation

     Administration warned airlines and airports that individuals with links to

terror networks were planning to fly on U.S. airlines, a

     Mexican magazine reported. The Aug 28 memo listed the names of 

suspects and

ordered airlines and airports to take measures to

     prevent them from boarding passenger planes, the report said." (Reuters,

     12) More Unusual Market Activity Reported BEFORE Attacks: "Chicago 

traders

on Wednesday cited unusual activity in airline

     options up to a month before attacks on U.S. landmarks, and German 

bankers

reported brisk activity in reinsurer Munich Re shares,

     adding to speculation that those behind the attacks tried to profit from

     So how come EVERYONE else knew this was going to happen? Why would 

the U.S.

refuse to investigate when told, unless it was

     their own plan all along?

                        Why did the Towers IMPLODE instead of EXPLODE?



     The towers came down as gracefully as a fountain of water. "Too 

methodical

to be a chance result of airplanes colliding with

     the structures" said Van Romero, vice president for research at New 

Mexico

Institute of Mining and Technology.



     "My opinion is that after the airplanes hit the World Trade Center there

were some explosive devices inside the buildings

     that caused the towers to collapse," Romero said. Romero is a former

director of the Energetic Materials Research and Testing

     Center at Tech, which studies explosive materials and the effects of

explosions on buildings, aircraft and other structures.



     The Towers IMPLODED! They did NOT explode! A fuel fire causes an 

EXplosion,

not an IMplosion. Explosions explode OUT.

     Implosions, implode IN!



     IMPLOSIONS can ONLY occur with immense planning by a highly skilled 

group

of craftsmen educated in the unique skill of

     demolishing buildings by strategically placing explosive devices within the

building. This requires many experts, much time and

     significant access to the building beforehand.



     The skill of implosion of buildings was developed primarily to demolish

buildings in areas of high building density, so the destruction

     of the structure will not cause damage to the surrounding buildings.



     In addition, the towers came down long after the planes struck. To 

suggest

that fuel dumping from the airplanes caused a fire hot

     enough to melt the inner structure is ludicrous.



     First of all, who can prove the planes dumped all of their fuel into the

core of the building?



     Second, why did the fuel take so long to catch fire?



     Third, fuel-fires cause EXplosions, NOT IMplosions!



     Fourth, the structure was built to withstand temperatures of 2000 

degrees

Fahrenheit, according to the architect and designer of the

     building, a man who is now deceased, but who preserved this nugget of

information in an interview he recorded in 1998.



     Hyman Brown, a University of Colorado civil engineering professor and the

World Trade Center's construction manager, watched in

     confusion as the towers came down. "It was over-designed to withstand

almost anything including hurricanes, high winds, bombings

     and an airplane hitting it," he said. (Scripps Howard News Service 9-11,01

and 9-12-01)



     Eye Witness Report: Ross Milanytch, an eyewitness, described seeing 

"small

explosions on each floor," a situation that is

     consistent with a man-made deliberate implosion. Mr. Milantych was in his

office on the 22nd floor of a building a couple of blocks

     away, according to the magazine America at War article entitled, "They 

Saw

It Happen: Eyewitness accounts to the World Trade

     Center Attack."



     So, why was it necessary to implode the whole structure? To eliminate

evidence, just as was done to the Murrah building in

     Oklahoma City, before the forensic specialists could get in to examine the

evidence.



     Just like the Branch Davidian compound at Waco was bulldozed by the

government before any evidence could be examined.



     Conclusion: This was a highly skilled endeavor by a large group of

well-trained people with access to the buildings, the airplanes

     and the explosives. They would have had to blend into the population and

not look suspicious.



     Question: Who would have these qualifications? Certainly not a large 

group

of Arab "terrorists"!





                              Where are the "Indestructible" Black Boxes?





     All four Black Boxes were supposedly destroyed and rendered unusable in

spite of the fact that they are designed

     specifically for plane crashes which result in insurmountable conditions.

In fact there are reported to be TWO Black Boxes on each

     plane, but apparently ALL EIGHT of the Black Boxes are completely

destroyed.



     Strange indeed!



     ABC News Reports: The Black Box is "ALMOST INDESTRUCTIBLE. IT IS 

DESIGNED

TO WITHSTAND HEAT OF UP TO

     2,000 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT FOR ONE HOUR, salt water for at least 30 

days,

immersion in a variety of liquids such as jet fuel

     and lubricants, AND AN IMPACT OF 3,400 G's. By comparison, astronauts 

are

typically exposed to up to six Gs during a shuttle

     takeoff."



     Yet CNN reported that "In New York, several blocks from the ruins of the

World Trade Center, a passport authorities said belonged to

     one of the hijackers was discovered a few days ago, according to city

Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik."



                                    The paper passport apparently survived

intact!

                                      Who Has Claimed Responsibility?



     Within HOURS after the attack the U.S. was aggressively touting Osama 

bin

Laden as the "terrorist" responsible for this dastardly

     deed. As one writer to a popular website noted, "I find it laughable that

the agency notorious for its inability to find a

     bleeding elephant in a snowbank suddenly (within hours of the attack) 

has

the culprit pinpointed!"



     The media continuously whips up the public to indiscriminate hatred of

almost any Arab. On radio, on TV, in the newspapers and in

     magazines, all one hears or reads is HATE towards Osama bin Laden, or 

any

other Muslim. The Globe, a well-known grocery store

     rag, contains pictures of Osama Bin Laden with rifle "cross-hairs" targeted

over his face and a soldier in fatigues pointing an

     automatic rifle at his head. Yet these same media outlets pompously 

demand

the elimination of "hate!"



     It is USUAL and CUSTOMARY for Terrorist groups to claim responsibility for

an attack. Yet no such claim has been made.



     Osama bin Laden says he didn't do it. "We have been blamed in the past, 

but

we were not involved," he said. (The

     Guardian - London 9-17-01)



     "Egyptian President Mubarak still has not seen bin Laden proof," according

to a Paris AFP report. "Egyptian President Hosni

     Mubarak says he has not seen any proof of Osama bin Laden being "the

brains" behind the terrorist attacks on the United States

     and warns Washington against over-hasty reprisals, in a newspaper 

interview

published on 9-24-01.



     Missing - Crucial Facts From the Official Charges Against bin Laden: "It

was too good to be true. We were told we would be

     getting evidence of Osama bin Laden's guilt. Instead, close analysis of the

21-page document put out by the Government on

     Thursday reveals a report of conjecture, supposition and unsubstantiated

assertions of fact. It uses every trick in the drafter's arsenal

     to make the reader believe they are reading something they are not: a

damning indictment of Mr bin Laden for the events of

     September 11." (The Independent - London, 10-7-01)



     The US Created the Taliban: "Deposed Afghan President Burhanuddin 

Rabbani

hit out at United States policy in Afghanistan,

     accusing it of having created the ruling Taliban. 'After the defeat of

Soviet troops, the US completely forgot our country,' he said.

     'Washington afterwards created the Taliban, at the side of Pakistan,

supported and armed them to overcome my Islamic

     government," Rabbani said in an interview with the Frankfurter Allegmeine

Zeitung. (10-6-01)



     Saddam Hussein, in a letter to the American People noted that "when the

event took place, Arab rulers and the rulers of countries

     whose religions is Islam, rushed to condemn the event." (Iraqi News 

Agency

     There are even reports that Osama bin Laden has been, and may still now 

be,

an operative of the U.S. CIA.



     And now, according to The Washington Post (9-25-01), The U.S. is now

"Unsure" of Going Public with the "Proof" of Osama

     bin Laden's responsibility for the "terrorist" attack. With the U.S.

public, and other nations, demanding proof, the Bush administration

     is hiding behind the cloak of "National Security."



     Secretary of State Colin Powell promised that the U.S. "soon" would "put

out a paper. . that will describe quite clearly the evidence

     that we have linking" bin Laden to the attacks on the World Trade Center

and Pentagon. But Rep. Porter Goss (R-Fla), chairman of

     the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said that the

administration cannot present its full case "without

     revealing some sources and methods that we would not want to reveal." 

HOW

INTERESTING AND CONVENIENT FOR THEM!





                                               Now Let's Consider -



                             Are There Other Countries, besides the Arabs,



                                who have ever been involved in terrorism?



     According to the Washington Report, "In 1967 on the fourth day of the Six

Day War, the armed forces of Israel attacked the

     American intelligence ship USS Liberty for 90 minutes in international

waters in broad daylight following several hours of close,

     low-level reconnaissance. Thirty-four men died, 171 were hurt, and the 

ship

was so badly damaged that it had to be scrapped.



     The government of Israel has lied about the circumstances ever since,

telling a story markedly different from that told by American

     survivors. Congress has refused to question Israel's demonstrably false

account.



     Why would Israel risk alienating its American friends? Why did Israel

attack?



     According to eyewitness accounts by Israeli officers and journalists, the

Israeli Army executed as many as 1,000 Arab prisoners

     during the 1967 war. Historian Gabby Bron wrote in the Yediot Ahronot in

Israel that he witnessed Israeli troops executing Egyptian

     prisoners on the morning of June 8, 1967, in the Sinai town of El Arish,

including about 150 Egyptian POWs. They made the

     prisoners dig their own graves then they were shot as they stood at the

edge of the grave.



     As those executions were underway, America's most sophisticated

intelligence platform, USS Liberty, was less than 13 miles

     from El Arish, close enough to see the town mosque with the naked eye. 

With

binoculars one could make out individual buildings and

     might have seen the executions if one had looked in the right place.



     The attack on the USS Liberty lasted 75 minutes. It was not brief nor

accidental as Israel claims. The Israelis wantonly

     destroyed life rafts in the water and they jammed international radio

distress frequencies while Americans, who might have been

     saved, died!



     Why Are The Israelis Revealing ALL U.S. Nuclear Secrets? Debka, an

Israel-based news and intelligence analysis portal, is

     claiming that "US nuclear weapons have been deployed in four former 

Soviet

Central Asian bases." The weapons are described as

     FDR Knew About Pearl Harbor: John Flynn made a sound case for 

Roosevelt's

foreknowledge in 1946, the historian Charles

     Beard confirmed it in 1948 with his book FDR and the Coming of the War

1941. John Toland told the story in Infamy in the early

     1980s, and John Stinnett followed with Day of Deceit. They all understood

FDR's manipulation of, and complicity in, the

     attack on Pearl Harbor. It was done to incite the U.S. citizens to hate the

Japanese and push them to support the U.S. entry into

     World War II.



     And it worked beautifully! Americans willingly gave their own lives and the

lives of their sons to fight a war that had nothing to do with

     them.



     FDR knew in advance of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Not only did he refuse

to stop it, he encouraged it by his manipulative

     treatment of Japan prior to the attack, and his stationing of ships in the

Hawaiian port, an easy target for the Japanese.

Certainly the whole story, or at least the end results of the planning, have been covered and then some by now. My own thought on the matter is that this is precisely the type of thing that circulates after big events, the wishful thinking of the paranoid. It's quite clear the US was going to openly push for Palestinian statehood, but right now I think BushCo (specially Powell, who is probably the only Cabinet member to actively care) seems fed up to the teeth with both sides. The only problem with that is that the balance of power then still resides with Israel, so forget negotiation. Not so much conspiracy theory as it is annoyance.

 LAST week, the US government announced that it was building the

biggest-ever war machine. Military spending will rise to $379billion, 

of

which $50billion will pay for its "war on terrorism". There will be 

special

funding for new, refined weapons of mass slaughter and for "military

operations" - invasions of other countries.



Of all the extraordinary news since September 11, this is the most 

alarming.

It is time to break our silence.



That is to say, it is time for other governments to break their 

silence,

especially the Blair government, whose complicity in the American 

rampage in

Afghanistan has not denied its understanding of the Bush 

administration's

true plans and ambitions.



The recent statements of British Ministers about the "vindication" of 

the

"outstanding success" in Afghanistan would be comical if the price of 

their

"success" had not been paid with the lives of more than 5,000 innocent

Afghani civilians and the failure to catch Osama bin Laden and anyone 

else

of importance in the al-Qaeda network.



The Pentagon's release of deliberately provocative pictures of 

prisoners at

Camp X-Ray on Cuba was meant to conceal this failure from the American

public, who are being conditioned, along with the rest of us, to 

accept a

permanent war footing similar to the paranoia that sustained and 

prolonged

the Cold War.



The threat of "terrorism", some of it real, most of it invented, is 

the new

Red Scare.



The parallels are striking.



IN AMERICA in the 1950s, the Red Scare was used to justify the growth 

of war

industries, the suspension of democratic rights and the silencing of

dissenters.



That is happening now.



Above all, the American industrial-complex has a new enemy with which 

to

justify its gargantuan appetite for public resources - the new 

military

budget is enough to end all primary causes of poverty in the world.



Donald Rumsfeld, the Defence Secretary, says he has told the Pentagon 

to

"think the unthinkable".



Vice President Dick Cheney, the voice of Bush, has said the US is

considering military or other action against "40 to 50 countries" and 

warns

that the new war may last 50 years or more.



A Bush adviser, Richard Perle, explained. "(There will be) no stages," 

he

said.



"This is total war. We are fighting a variety of enemies. There are 

lots of

them out there ... If we just let our vision of the world go forth, 

and we

embrace it entirely, and we don't try to piece together clever 

diplomacy but

just wage a total war, our children will sing great songs about us 

years

from now."



Their words evoke George Orwell's great prophetic work, Nineteen

Eighty-Four.



In the novel, three slogans dominate society: war is peace, freedom is

slavery and ignorance is strength.



Today's slogan, war on terrorism, also reverses meaning. The war is

terrorism.



The next American attack is likely to be against Somalia, a deeply

impoverished country in the Horn of Africa.



Washington claims there are al-Qaeda terrorist cells there.



This is almost certainly a fiction spread by Somalia's overbearing

neighbour, Ethiopia, in order to ingratiate itself with Washington.

Certainly, there are vast oil fields off the coast of Somalia.



For the Americans, there is the added attraction of "settling a 

score".



In 1993, in the last days of George Bush Senior's presidency, 18 

American

soldiers were killed in Somalia after the US Marines had invaded to 

"restore

hope", as they put it.



A current Hollywood movie, Black Hawk Down, glamorises and lies about 

this

episode.



It leaves out the fact that the invading Americans left behind between 

7,000

and 10,000 Somalis killed.



Like the victims of American bombing in Afghanistan, and Iraq, and 

Cambodia,

and Vietnam and many other stricken countries, the Somalis are 

unpeople,

whose deaths have no political and media value in the West.



WHEN Bush Junior's heroic marines return in their Black Hawk gunships,

loaded with technology, looking for "terrorists", their victims will 

once

again be nameless. We can then expect the release of Black Hawk Down 

II.



Breaking our silence means not allowing the history of our lifetimes 

to be

written this way, with lies and the blood of innocent people. To 

understand

the lie of what Blair/Straw/Hoon call the "outstanding success" in

Afghanistan, read the work of the original author of "Total War", a 

man

called Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was President Carter's National 

Security

Adviser and is still a powerful force in Washington.



Brzezinski not long ago revealed that on July 3, 1979, unknown to the

American public and Congress, President Jimmy Carter secretly 

authorised

$500million to create an international terrorist movement that would 

spread

Islamic fundamentalism in Central Asia and "destabilise" the Soviet 

Union.



The CIA called this Operation Cyclone and in the following years 

poured

$4billion into setting up Islamic training schools in Pakistan 

(Taliban

means "student").



Young zealots were sent to the CIA's spy training camp in Virginia, 

where

future members of al-Qaeda were taught "sabotage skills" - terrorism.



Others were recruited at an Islamic school in Brooklyn, New York, 

within

sight of the fated Twin Towers.



In Pakistan, they were directed by British MI6 officers and trained by 

the

SAS.



The result, quipped Brzezinski, was "a few stirred up Muslims" - 

meaning the

Taliban.



At that time, the late 1970s, the American goal was to overthrow

Afghanistan's first progressive, secular government, which had granted 

equal

rights to women, established health care and literacy programmes and 

set out

to break feudalism.



When the Taliban seized power in 1996, they hanged the former 

president from

a lamp-post in Kabul.



His body was still a public spectacle when Clinton administration 

officials

and oil company executives were entertaining Taliban leaders in 

Washington

and Houston, Texas.



The Wall Street Journal declared: "The Taliban are the players most 

capable

of achieving peace. Moreover, they were crucial to secure the country 

as a

prime trans-shipment route for the export of Central Asia's vast oil, 

gas

and other natural resources."



NO AMERICAN newspaper dares suggest that the prisoners in Camp X-Ray 

are the

product of this policy, nor that it was one of the factors that led to 

the

attacks of September 11.



Nor do they ask: who were the real winners of September 11?



The day the Wall Street stockmarket opened after the destruction of 

the Twin

Towers, the few companies showing increased value were the giant 

military

contractors Alliant Tech Systems, Northrop Gruman, Raytheon (a 

contributor

to New Labour) and Lockheed Martin.



As the US military's biggest supplier, Lockheed Martin's share value 

rose by

a staggering 30 per cent.



Within six weeks of September 11, the company (with its main plant in 

Texas,

George Bush's home state) had secured the biggest military order in 

history:

a $200billion contract to develop a new fighter aircraft. The greatest 

taboo

of all, which Orwell would surely recognise, is the record of the 

United

States as a terrorist state and haven for terrorists.



This truth is virtually unknown by the American public and makes a 

mockery

of Bush's (and Blair's) statements about "tracking down terrorists 

wherever

they are".



They don't have to look far.



Florida, currently governed by the President's brother, Jeb Bush, has 

given

refuge to terrorists who, like the September 11 gang, have hi-jacked

aircraft and boats with guns and knives.



Most have never had criminal charges brought against them.



Why? All of them are anti-Castro Cubans. Former Guatemalan Defence 

Minister

Gramajo Morales, who was accused of "devising and directing an

indiscriminate campaign of terror against civilians", including the 

torture

of an American nun and the massacre of eight people from one family, 

studied

at Harvard University on a US government scholarship.



During the 1980s, thousands of people were murdered by death squads

connected to the army of El Salvador, whose former chief now lives

comfortably in Florida.



The former Haitian dictator, General Prosper Avril, liked to display 

the

bloodied victims of his torture on television.



When he was overthrown, he was flown to Florida by the US government, 

and

granted political asylum.



A leading member of the Chilean military during the reign of General

Pinochet, whose special responsibility was executions and torture, 

lives in

Miami.



THE Iranian general who ran Iran's notorious prisons, is a wealthy 

exile in

the US.



One of Pol Pot's senior henchmen, who enticed Cambodian exiles back to 

their

certain death, lives in Mount Vernon, New York.



What all these people have in common, apart from their history of 

terrorism,

is that they either worked directly for the US government or carried 

out the

dirty work of US policies.



The al-Qaeda training camps are kindergartens compared with the 

world's

leading university of terrorism at Fort Benning in Georgia. Known 

until

recently as the School of the Americas, its graduates include almost 

half

the cabinet ministers of the genocidal regimes in Guatemala, two 

thirds of

the El Salvadorean army officers who committed, according to the 

United

Nations, the worst atrocities of that country's civil war, and the 

head of

Pinochet's secret police, who ran Chile's concentration camps.



There is terrible irony at work here. The humane response of people 

all over

the world to the terrorism of September 11 has long been hijacked by 

those

running a rapacious great power with a history of terrorism second to 

none.

Global supremacy, not the defeat of terrorism, is the goal; only the

politically blind believe otherwise.



The "widening gap between the world's "haves" and "have nots"', says a

remarkably candid document of the US Space Command, presents "new

challenges" to the world's superpower and which can only be met by 

"Full

Spectrum Dominance" - dominance of land, sea, air and space.

But the OUTCOME, by the 60s, was a vast INCREASE in democratic activity in the US (inc.the mainstreaming of Civil Rights positions) and a global outburst of dissent w/o parallel in 20th century history. Pilger is a TERRIBLE political analyst: kinda Chomsky w/o the smart stuff.

His basic assumption — which Chomsky can also tumble into, and which all lizard-ppl theorists absolutely believe — is that the GLOBAL RULING CLASS operates as an utterly smooth, conflict-free, motivationally unified, communicationally self-transparent cadre. Even as a rallying cry, this is totally counter-productive.

The biggest problem with conspiracy theory as broadly described is that it assumes a *massive* amount of people/interests/things keeping one hell of a secret. Whereas what happened on September 11 makes much more sense -- a very small, focused group keeping a secret.

This is such an important point - and it is supported by the way effective revolutionary conspiracies actually work: for just the reasons Ned mentions, the larger organization is split into tiny cells of a few people, with no-one knowing very much about the larger framework of the organization and its goals. Therefore, only a few people ever have to keep the "one hell of a secret" - or even know more than a few component parts of the big secret.

The other problem I find with this kind of stuff is this: if it's all such a big secret, why am I able to go to k-zillion sources to read about it? and why hasn't the ruthless all-powerful machine silenced the revelations of the conspiracy?

Regarding the Federal Reserve: It appears pretty widely known that The Federal Reserve uses the word "Federal" in the title, but it is actually not federal, but privately owned. One person defending the Federal Reserve said this: "Yes, the Federal Reserve banks are privately owned, but they are controlled by the publically-appointed Board of Governors. The Federal Reserve banks merely execute the monetary policy choices made by the Board. In addition, nearly all the interest the Federal Reserve collects on government bonds is rebated to the Treasury each year, so the government does not pay any net interest to the Fed."

And, I do remember CNN reporting that eyewitnesses saw explosions on each of the floors. It is odd that the planes weren't shot down and several sources have said we were "aware" of the threat. I have trouble believing that the FBI is as clutzy as we were led to believe.

I did also see all the info about the "pancaking effect", but isn't it true that the black boxes and the Twin Towers were built to withstand significanly more heat than spaceships encounter... like hundreds of times more heat? I also heard that on CNN. It's weird that people just come to conclusions like, "Well, I guess you just don't know... those boxes are gone for good... Pancake effect explains why the thing fell". It really doesn't explain, because they were built to withstand plane crashes. One floor should not have pancaked onto the next. The increased weight is why the pancake effect occured. And it does seem weird that the FBI has been able to round up terrorists left and right since the attacks, but couldn't do a damn thing about the warnings prior to 911.

But, as I said, it's a freaky conspiracy theory. I remember Ned posted one long ago that made the USA look suspicious and that freaked me out, too. Ned, do you still have that link?

There isn't much I genuinely believe, mark. Many people have thought this was shady from day one, but most people are content to rally around a common enemy. I was saying our gov't deserves to be attacked just before 911 happened, so I'm obviously not big on our foreign policy.

You let me down by bringing in irrationality and personal ego issues and then said that you thought everyone, including Momus was incredibly self absorbed!

The question is - can he sustain an argument?

When I saw the images of September 11 I cried observing so much destruction, especially of human lives, and to those people and their families my simpathy. But, after abrief review of information available to all, I am saddened at the fact that these lives may have been lost not at the hands of traditional "terrorist", but other kind, the kind that you may reach a conclusion.

Not too long ago, in a recent TIME Magazine,(May 20, 1992, Pg 9) there's an article regarding a book ("The Horrifying Fraud".- by Thierry Meyssan) with a new theory about September 11. This article also includes three pictures. Pictures of surveillance cameras posted at the side of the Pentagon building where you fail to see an "airplane" impacting its side. We all were made to believe this.

Additionally it is mentioned that meysan discounts "...expert explanations that the violence of the impact and heat of the explosion caused a virtual atomization of the jet...". I would direct your eyes to (1) August 7 2000 issue of Newsweek Magazine Pg. 42 where it shows debris of this fateful flight (please notice its colors-charred black), (2) Newsweek, July 29 1996, pgs 14-15. I appologize (to families of victims) for citing these as I would like to draw your attention to them. Regardless of size, there is always remains of an airplane.

Time September 24 1991 pgs 34-35 show the zise of an aircraft impact yet on 66-67 there is quite a different outlook of destruction. On Newsweek September 24, 2001 pgs. 18-19 you will find a picture of the Pentagon. I may be inclined to believe that the building, due to its nature has a sturdy design, but fortunately for the people inside the area fo destruction only covers the span of 5 to 6 windows, and a closer peek of another picture Newsweek June 10, 1992 pg 8-9 reveal that three windows down the destroyed area, the "glass windows" survided the extreme heat and impact of the airplane, and on page 1 of this same issue, the picture is quite clear as one can make out several items that were inside the offices before the... explosion??? except one thing... an airplane. Astonishingly, even colors stand out in this area where in other incidents, the predominant color was charred black.

In this same issue it recalls the possible agencied that bungled and did not foretell the attacks. But it is quite interesting what it is said about the investigation of the quasi pilots "...Neither man lost sight of the primary mission: learning to fly airplanes.... but they were impossible to teach... both men (had) a half-dozen classes on the ground before taking them up in a single engine Cessna in "MAY" (emphasis added)... but (the instructor) soon gave up on his hapless students. "I just thought they didn't have the aptitude" he says. "They were like Dumb and Dumber".

This is quite astonishing how a "hapless" student can be learning in May to fly a Cessna and in September skilfully manipulate a Boeing 757 into a building. Or, maybe there was help as indicated by Meyssan, that "...New York amateur radio operators, who say they picked up signals of navigational beacons within the towers..."

Finally, I believe that the defense department as well as the air traffic controllers over the DC area are quite experienced. How can a Boeing 757 slip their eagle eyes. This certainly was not the case just recently with another airplane that was in restricted airspace.

I have looked at the images in magazines and there are many questions unanswered. If the Meyssan article had been in relation with any other building I might have dismissed it without a second look and quite disgusted out of respect of those fallen. But there was an explosion in the Pentagon, not an "ordinary building". If an airplane did not impact it, who or what caused the explosion in a building that may have state of the art security measures and the people who work there are.... well you know.

I would like some answers, because the incidents changes our world for good... or might I say for bad.

Scott Stevens' last appearance on KPVI-TV was Thursday.

His departure comes after station officials learned a link labeled "Make a Donation" on Stevens' Web site, www.weatherwars.info, where he expounds on his theory, opened a payment form connected to Stevens' KPVI e-mail address.
