Can't get photos off phone. HELP.

Hi. I'm having difficulty getting a photo from my phone onto my PC. The USB lead won't work properly (We can not connect with "your media", it tells me), and Bluetooth works fine in getting it to another phone but not to a PC. This is a very important photo which will be an exhibit in a police investigation. Can anyone help me? The phone in question is a Motorola ROKR Model E1. Thanks.

Dude just e-mail it to yourself.

OK, now I finally got the phone connected to Motorola Phone Tools, but it talks about getting a picture onto the phone from the PC, not the other way round. Grrrrrrr.

And it won't send it by email either.

OK, then take a picture of the picture on the phone with another camera and then get the picture off that.

(I've ceased to be helpful, I know.)

Yeah, I thought of that. That will probably reduce it to an unrecognisable white blur... probably won't make any difference in this country's corrupt courts but I'd prefer to get the original and sharpen it up a bit on PhotoEditor. Thanks anyway....

So send it to another phone you can get it off of.

I can get it to my mother's phone, but we don't have a USB lead for it and the email settings "aren't complete". GRRRRR.

Find a memory card reader and copy the photos direct from your phone's memory card (if the photos are stored on the phone, you can copy them across to the card). Or find a printer with a built-in memory card reader.

if you paste in a bag with "swag" written on it, you'll win this case for sure.

If you remove the back cover of your pohone and shake it vigorously, the photos all fall out.

Relatively serious answer:

Have you ever had other phone related software on the PC before? Mobile Phone Tools really doesn't like it if you have.

Pohone must be some kind of Oxfordshire slang I've never heard of.

Yaaaaaay. Jessops sorted the dilemma out in the end... I simply bluetoothed it to their machine and printed it out within minutes for only 30p. Quite a good copy too.

Thanks for all the help. Wish me luck in court.....
