They contacted us to see if they could get some SOAS Students involved. I told them to fuck off with their not at all probing, sensationalist idea of journalism.

It does look like very shallow 'ooh clever makeup' nonsense. Also, the black man turned white looks like someone from a Peter Jackson movie.

watched it once - thought it was quite interesting when the disguised people went among the communities they had adopted the look of, but it didn't really get all that in-depth, did it? i was quite disappointed by it for some reason. and i thought that the Bangladeshi girl who was disguised as white still looked quite Bangladeshi - they did a *terrible* job on her hair!

Want to see a job done well?

The guy on the left is Canibus (whose career is so up the creek he had to try starting beef with Emimem (who wisely ignored him)).

Speaking of which, did anyone see that "Have A Go Heroes" thing? Awful, espically the end where they couldn't think of how to finish the programme so they conjured up some bollocks with the kid of the killed man climbing up a ladder to reach his dead dad who was in the sky. "I can't reach him, mummy!" All this to piss-weak piano music. And that bit where those kids who went after the bloke who stole a woman's watch were shown running towards the thief wearing Spiderman and Superman costumes was stupid.

I am very glad I did not see 'Have A Go Heroes', for if I had I would probably now be dead of a rage induced coronary.

I thought it could have been better. Daniel, the black guy who was changed into white, cuts my hair when Verity's on holiday. He was a good choice but the 'makeovers' were well dodgy.

Brass Eye, February 1997, roughly: "we changed our white reporter into a black man ... within 30 minutes he had committed a pocket theft and assaulted this woman ... I ask Nelson Koka, representing every single black person in Britain, what does this mean ..."

Morris five years ahead of sensationalist reality as always, it seems.

Just to be clear: THIS IS NOT ME.
