Exciting! I'll be starting off in MA and heading South, greyhounds I guess, planes might be involved at some point? My flight's from Nashville, everything else is pretty flexible - what should I see and do? I have money and stuff so I can take take detours etc, Georgia might be cool?

Stone Mountain in Georgia (there's a theme park there too). US Space and Rocket Center/Space Camp at Huntsville Alabama. Ave Maria Grotto at the St. Bernard Monastery in Cullman Alabama. Dollywood.

Greg, it's possible I might be free to travel a bit to meet up later in the week, like Wed or Thur. What are you interested in doing/seeing? City stuff, country stuff, gambling in Tunica?

I'm not 100% sure I'll be free, but I should know by the end of today.

I wanted to go to the caverns near Nashville, but we ran out of time. If you're driving, the stretch between DC and Tennessee along the Shenandoah Valley is beautiful. Lot's of well-preserved towns. Check out Staunton, VA (pronounced "Stanton"), and Lexington and Roanoke. Natural Bridge!

How long will you be in the US, GP?

I second that question. Come back soon, do. Or stay in Nashville and learn to play the pedal steel.

Either way.

Oh, I missed this revival! I haven't had much internet access - I'm in Richmond, VA, at the moment, it was meant to be as a stop on the way but I really like it here, people have been pretty great to me. I wish I could stay for longer, and visit other places! I have to be in Chicago on Friday to meet Michelle's parents, then I'm flying back to England on the 29th for the school term. I'd still like to meet people, though!
