I bought a nice bottle of wine and then put it in the freezer and forgot about it.

It froze and blew the cork out, but i thawed the winecicle and now it's all liquid again. a sip tastes pretty funky.

did it always taste like this, or did the freeze alter the flavor? would you still drink it?

Freezing changes the flavor, but you could still drink it. Or cook with it. Or, if it tastes a bit odd, mix in some fruit juice and seltzer and make a wine cooler out of it.
