Anyway, there are different types of intelligence, and these tests fail to acknowledge this, by assuming that a smart person must be smart at EVERYTHING.
I refused to enter any answers and got to the end with a measurement of 55!

Let's guess the IQ of the person who wrote the FAQ:
What is an IQ?An Intelligence Quotient indicates a person's mental abilities relative to others of approximately the same age. Everyone has hundreds of specific mental abilities--some can be measured accurately and are reliable predictors of academic and financial success. Why does my IQ changes? In the time more an more people are taking the test. So your relative position is changing and so does your IQ. Who created this test? This test was created by profesional psychologist. The questions in the test are carefully selected using experience gained in past several working years.

One of them seemed to be "how does Tetris work?" - I wasn't sure how that links to general IQ.

I resented the very first question. Just because something forms a consistent pattern doesn't mean it's a logical flow.

FWIW as declared above, I believe not in these tests either. Every person has their own special skills and they're rarely measurable.

the questions in this were annoying, especially the rubiks cube one, i couldnt be bothered. i stumbled to a 124 in the end,

not so. i don't want it to be anything. i just don't believe in intelligence, really. i definitely don't think it can be measured.

I keed.
This test is a great example of what I dislike about IQ tests though - they give you a set of questions with no instructions and assume that the more intelligent you are, the more likely you are to figure out what to do on your own. But in fact how fast you get them has a lot to do with prior exposure to similar types of tasks and questions - had I not taken other IQ tests before, for example, I wouldn't even get as far as I did.
