Jeremie appears to like scantily-clad ladies quite a lot.

I'm not sure I approve of this development, but I'm curious as to which other players have horrendously designed profiles. No one actually good, surely?

the scantily clad ladies seem to like him too, or maybe it's all a WICKED PRETENCE!

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:20 (nineteen years ago)

He's engaged to Leilani Dowding (page 3 girl with a whole bunch of ex-boyfriends who all seem to play professional football), I found out the other week. I'm guessing this is her doing.

"At 16 I was signed up by Arsenal football club and I moved to London, where I have been ever since"

Yeah, we've all forgotten about your crap period at Celtic, perhaps it's for the best you have as well.

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:22 (nineteen years ago)

Well, Jermaine Pennat is in friends list, but his profile is friends only! Too busy with the page three stunnahs, hey Matt?

jel -- (jel), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:26 (nineteen years ago)

(wasn't he at Wolves as well for a bit?)

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:27 (nineteen years ago)

Djibril Cisse would like to meet God, Diego Maradona and the Wu-Tang Clan.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:28 (nineteen years ago)

Michael Dawson is on there!

Hey, I'm Jean-Alain Boumsong!

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:31 (nineteen years ago)

I'll let him away with West Ham, since that didn't involve him not being in London.

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:31 (nineteen years ago)

Jean-Alain's interests include both 'ladies' and 'chillin'.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:34 (nineteen years ago)

From Jean-Alain Boumsong "I am off to join Juventus and hopefully get them to be the club they have been in previous years and prove to everyone that I can play at the top level"

yeah, you did a good job of that at the weekend, matey-boy. (http://football.guardian.co.uk/continentalfootball/story/0,,1869609,00.html)

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:34 (nineteen years ago)

"However, a defensive mix-up involving Jean-Alain Boumsong - which will come as no surprise to fans of his former club, Newcastle - in the 74th minute allowed Rimini's Argentinian forward Adrian Ricchiuti to run into the penalty area and slide the ball coolly past Buffon."

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:34 (nineteen years ago)

lolz at Boumsong's page.

"southampton paid 4,000,000 for me!"

Onimo (GerryNemo), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:38 (nineteen years ago)

i'm guessing that page wasn't set up by the real roy keane!

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:39 (nineteen years ago)

the question is which ones are real ones and which ones are the made up ones

secondhandnews (secondhandnews), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:40 (nineteen years ago)

I refuse to believe this man has even HEARD of a computer, let alone made this profile.

Pierre has "Follow Follow" as his music :)

Onimo (GerryNemo), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:41 (nineteen years ago)

My colleague Graham got a friend request from http://www.myspace.com/alan_smith14 the other week, there was heated debate over whether it was real or not. And over why "Smithy" had requested friending from a man who only uses myspace to keep up with friends on the London gay scene.

Tom (Groke), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:42 (nineteen years ago)

yeah, this seems way too coherent to be big dunc:

About me:
Ah play foutball fer Everton FC. Ahm a legend and erh,ahm pretty 'ard aswewl. Ah was born en Sterling and ahve played fer Dundee Utd and Rangeers, but mah live changed when ah joined Everton FC in 1994. Ah won the fa cup in 1995 in doing so beat them manc precks. Ah acheived cult status en the blue haf ov meresysaide and after a breif shpell at newcastle ah returnned tae mah rightful home in 2000, where since then ah have been bangin' in tha late goals and generalleh puttin the shite up defences. Most people except Stephan Freund, John Mcstay and Stephen Scharner know not tae mess wi' big dunc.

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:42 (nineteen years ago)

i love the fact that someone bothered to make a phil babb one

-- (688), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:44 (nineteen years ago)

"i hope me name being an anogram of early drop hasn't affected the clubs i've played for."

for some reason, this line (from rory delap's obv!) made me laugh like a hyena...

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:45 (nineteen years ago)

The spoof ones are better than the 'real' ones.

http://www.myspace.com/tomasbrolin

There is no Bosko Balaban :(

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:51 (nineteen years ago)

My god, this is incredible. I've studiously avoided myspace until now but there's some comic gold here. Scary thing is I'm not sure which one's are real and which aren't.

I'd guess Big Ron's isn't 'Who I'd like to meet:
Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Dolly Parton.'.

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:56 (nineteen years ago)

loads of junior tennis players have myspaces! they're all, well, when you remember that tennis academies are basically american high schools with all the unfit ones filtered out, it all makes sense. there are lots of kids who say things like "i'm the best fucking tennis player ever" and then you look up their record and they've won one junior match ever. all the comments are fabulous. www.myspace.com/donaldyoung is the only one i remember off the top of my head.

mardy fish is the only senior tennis player i know of with a genuine myspace though there are lots of spoofs and fakes obv.

ugh, that apostrophe is wrong :-(

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 11 September 2006 16:12 (nineteen years ago)

If you find Jeff Stelling's myspace profile, there's a whole world of WTF links off there...

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 11 September 2006 16:17 (nineteen years ago)

Lampard's looks genuine. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=104567070

Cristiano Ronaldo: "I am also a hate figure in England for diving and winking after getting Rooney sent off. I hoped it would allow me to join Real Madrid but they wouldnt let me."

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 11 September 2006 16:22 (nineteen years ago)

his interests are himself? he wants to meet...himself? and he is 5'4?

-- (688), Monday, 11 September 2006 16:29 (nineteen years ago)

I don't understand heights in cm because i'm stupid. There wasn't enough pisstaking for it not to be real, I didn't think. Perhaps I am wrong.
