A playing board which is obscured the second you start by a stupid fucking pop-up advert. Fuck that for a game of soldiers.

― Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:17 (twenty years ago)

I'm afraid I'm a WEBoggle loyalist (and no ads there either!) Have come 1st once, but that was on an occasion when there were only three valid words to be had on the board...

― Archel (Archel), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:19 (twenty years ago)

Come over to WEBoggle Mark and Marcello, see how rubbish I am.

― Archel (Archel), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:20 (twenty years ago)

The Websense category "Games" is filtered

― Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:21 (twenty years ago)

Marcello that didn't happen for me. But, Weboggle sounds okay so I'll give that a try.

― === temporary username === (Mark C), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:27 (twenty years ago)

oh well thank you archel, theat's MY life gone ;)

― CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:34 (twenty years ago)

:)

― Archel (Archel), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:37 (twenty years ago)

wait. do the letters have to be touching each other?

― sunny successor (katharine), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:42 (twenty years ago)

yeah i just got a shit load of popups obscuring everything too.

― Ste (Fuzzy), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:43 (twenty years ago)

Crap I am bad at this - consistently about 60th percentile.

― === temporary username === (Mark C), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:44 (twenty years ago)

Yes the letters have to be adjacent horizontally, vertically or diagonally and you can only use each letter once in a word.

― Archel (Archel), Thursday, 14 September 2006 11:49 (twenty years ago)

Woah I got a word no-one else got!! "Fetid"

― === temporary username === (Mark C), Thursday, 14 September 2006 12:04 (twenty years ago)

wahey! up to second!

― Obvious Ninja (Haberdager), Thursday, 14 September 2006 12:14 (twenty years ago)

Are you doing Weboggle, Louis? It does seem to be more hardcore.

― === temporary username === (Mark C), Thursday, 14 September 2006 12:59 (twenty years ago)

erm, no, was doing the first one. Shall check Webboggle out, though, if ya say so.

― Obvious Ninja (Haberdager), Thursday, 14 September 2006 13:01 (twenty years ago)

yr right, it is more hardcore :S

― Obvious Ninja (Haberdager), Thursday, 14 September 2006 13:23 (twenty years ago)

Weboggle = best ever time waster. Mr. Jaq and I started playing it after we got far too competitive over the regular Boggle last winter.

― Jaq (Jaq), Thursday, 14 September 2006 13:23 (twenty years ago)

This doesn't work right -- it told me I didn't find about 30 words I had in fact actually entered.

― nabisco (nabisco), Thursday, 14 September 2006 13:33 (twenty years ago)

in what language? ;-)

― Nathalie (stevie nixed), Thursday, 14 September 2006 13:36 (twenty years ago)

There should be a separate scoreboard for people who aren't nerd enough to have learnt all the lame scrabble words that provide like half the possibilities.

― === temporary username === (Mark C), Thursday, 14 September 2006 13:36 (twenty years ago)

I am completely rubbidge at this. But oh, it's addictive :)

― C J (C J), Thursday, 14 September 2006 13:37 (twenty years ago)

Come on Mark, Boggle + 'not nerd enough' DOES NOT COMPUTE.

― Archel (Archel), Thursday, 14 September 2006 14:15 (twenty years ago)

I am much more rubbish at this than I expected. (I almost always win at real-life Boggle.)

― emil.y (emil.y), Thursday, 14 September 2006 14:43 (twenty years ago)

I might play as 'team ilx' for a bit if anyone wants to get all collaborative and join me!

― Archel (Archel), Thursday, 14 September 2006 14:45 (twenty years ago)

Can't play at work - BOO! Maybe next week though, since my last day will be Thursday :)

― Jaq (Jaq), Thursday, 14 September 2006 15:18 (twenty years ago)

AWESOME

― sleep (sleep), Thursday, 14 September 2006 20:07 (twenty years ago)

I am rubbish at boggle, yet it is strangely addictive.

― ailsa (ailsa), Thursday, 14 September 2006 20:15 (twenty years ago)

I stopped liking Boggle aged 9 when I exclaimed, in front of the whole extended family: "Is C*NT a word?"

― JTS (JTS), Thursday, 14 September 2006 23:59 (twenty years ago)

I do Weboggle all the time as a timekiller...

― Douglas (Douglas), Friday, 15 September 2006 00:05 (twenty years ago)

I might do some now. Just a bit.

― killy (baby lenin pin), Friday, 15 September 2006 02:15 (twenty years ago)

Weboggle is fucking scary. There are people in there who score around 100 points each round on a 4x4 board. Is that even possible?!

― Andrew (enneff), Friday, 15 September 2006 02:49 (twenty years ago)

killy that is total B.S. you are a screengrab counterfeitter
