Trayce: I saw a really great doc on PBS about the history of the potato chip and how it was basically the first "prepared food" succesfully marketed to Middle America. The idea of "snacking" did not really exist then, so potato chips were convenient, tasty "food" that did not need any preparation prior to being served. The chip companies made all kinds of recipies that involved them.

Thats cool, I love that kind of thing. My mum and her sister (babyboomer era kids) make tuna bakes and stuff wih crushed chips on top. Quite tasty actually!
