Thom Yorke....where to start with Thom Yorke....

Back in the Pablo Honey days, he was going through some really tough times, had no direction....he used to have dreaded nipple hairs....he's a whiteboy so this took a little time and beeswax..

In 1999, he was walking his chipmunk in the park when he got sideswiped by a rickshaw driven by an unskilled student...it knocked the wind out of him, but his mom is the co-chair of some amateur sport council so she insisted it was a "blown ACL"....thus, Kid A.

Bottom line, Thom Yorke fucks shit up.

This is unrelated, but since someone mentioned the origins of Kid A I thought I should ask now. That album can't possibly be named after that godawful Carl Steadman (?) Lacan tribute poem thing can it? Jesus, I've always hoped that wasn't the case, but was never into Radiohead enough to scour the fan sites. Does someone know about this?
