Aw, Jesus, that's dreadful. I don't know why I thought he was beating it - I know he'd taken a year off, but I sort of assumed it was for recuperation purposes.

Lest we forget, he was the guy who brought a smile to the face of many a snooker fan by nipping off to shag his missus half-way through a match.

I only follow snooker because my husband does, but it still makes me extremely sad that he lost the battle. :-((((
