I got confused, I killed a horse (unclejessjess), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:18 (nineteen years ago)

and all i had to do was sit and look pretty and be charming for the nice tourism lady and the hotel mgr.

I got confused, I killed a horse (unclejessjess), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:19 (nineteen years ago)

OMG Jesse found the new thread right away.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:19 (nineteen years ago)

I have been thinking that I would like to eat some oysters. Raw.

Party Time Country Female (pullapartgirl), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:20 (nineteen years ago)

I had an eye ultrasound, man that was weird.

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:21 (nineteen years ago)

Jeff. (Jeff), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:22 (nineteen years ago)

Definitely the last one for aesthetics.

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:24 (nineteen years ago)

OMG Jesse found the new thread right away.

For some reason this feels patronizing. Like I'm a puppy or a toddler.

I got confused, I killed a horse (unclejessjess), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:24 (nineteen years ago)

hey, it's prolly none of my business, i'm totally lurking, but the first one, jeff.

ai lien (kold_krush), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:25 (nineteen years ago)

The first one looks the warmest, the last one looks the most stylish. Avoid the second.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:26 (nineteen years ago)

The guy at the top of the thread bears a spotty resemblance to my dad. Not totally, but just in the way the facial features are proportioned or something. It's going to creep me out for a while.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:27 (nineteen years ago)

For some reason this feels patronizing

It's meant to be.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:29 (nineteen years ago)

Gotta go with the last one.

For some reason this feels patronizing

It's meant to be.

OK YOU TWO.

this, however, is the crucial moment from the libertine's point of view (kenan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:30 (nineteen years ago)

Someday I will take you all to Lawrence's and we will eat fried friends from the sea.

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:31 (nineteen years ago)

Jeff, my vote is for the first one! I like the parka vibe better than the barncoat.

Laurel (Laurel), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:32 (nineteen years ago)

Figures. The second one is my favorite because I am entraced with its practicality. I think Jeff would look beyond adorable in that furry hood though, with little red cheeks! OMG!

Party Time Country Female (pullapartgirl), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:34 (nineteen years ago)

last one. or 2nd.

I got confused, I killed a horse (unclejessjess), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:35 (nineteen years ago)

2nd is horrible. first is best.

otto midnight (otto midnight), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:35 (nineteen years ago)

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeentranced

Party Time Country Female (pullapartgirl), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:36 (nineteen years ago)

I'm going to say #2, too, but not in that horrible color.

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:36 (nineteen years ago)

Actually, the second one isn't so bad in any of the other available colors. I'd go with black or green.

this, however, is the crucial moment from the libertine's point of view (kenan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:37 (nineteen years ago)

xpost

this, however, is the crucial moment from the libertine's point of view (kenan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:37 (nineteen years ago)

And the third one is better in charcoal.

this, however, is the crucial moment from the libertine's point of view (kenan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:38 (nineteen years ago)

i like the quilting on the 2nd one. a lot.

but still i'm strongly on the side of the last one. wool is always good.

the first one is gro

I got confused, I killed a horse (unclejessjess), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:38 (nineteen years ago)

the first one is gro

did someone garrot jesse mid post? is it gross? groady? groantastically good?

otto midnight (otto midnight), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:40 (nineteen years ago)

The reason I say #2 is a good shell jacket is a great thing.

xpost groin-grabbingly great

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:40 (nineteen years ago)

later chicago.

thanks for the fun today.

otto midnight (otto midnight), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:44 (nineteen years ago)

He said, cavalierly tossing a few bills on the bed.

this, however, is the crucial moment from the libertine's point of view (kenan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:46 (nineteen years ago)

#1 - LIKE: It's the warmest. Has a removeable hood, even the fur is removeable. DISLIKE: Not convertible, may be too bulky.

#2 - LIKE: It seems practical. I like the full sleeve down liner, and the shell is versatile. DISLIKE: Styling, price.

#3 - LIKE: Style. DISLIKE: The removeable liner is a vest, not full sleeve. No hood option. I may still be cold in it.

I would get all of them in either black or charcoal. I don't like colors. I'm leaning towards #2, because style is probably the least of my concerns.

Jeff. (Jeff), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:46 (nineteen years ago)

Man I would think that Carhartt you were rockin' the other day would be coat enough (paired with a good hat, of course).

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:51 (nineteen years ago)

This is my jacket!!!

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:52 (nineteen years ago)

I like the carhartt, but I was chubbier when I first bought it, so I want a smaller coat. Also, the snap on hood is broken. It has been a good coat, but I'm ready for the next step.

Jeff. (Jeff), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:53 (nineteen years ago)

Jordan, is that warm enough?

Party Time Country Female (pullapartgirl), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:54 (nineteen years ago)

Jordan - I have the same one!!!

I found it in a dusty corner of a storage room at my school about five years ago.

i love it.

researching ur life (grady), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:56 (nineteen years ago)

NO WAI

I got it at Burlington Coat Factory last year for cheap. It's not not warm, but I usually go for style over substance when it comes to coats (because I am dumb).

Really, it's a fall jacket that I combine with a thick hoodie, Voltronlike, to create winter wear.

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:58 (nineteen years ago)

Weird. Mine is also a Kenneth Cole Reaction, thick wool blend, with a collar. But other than that, same jacket.

this, however, is the crucial moment from the libertine's point of view (kenan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 20:58 (nineteen years ago)

Does it have the Michael Jackson shoulders and stripes down the sleeves?

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 21:00 (nineteen years ago)

Of course.

Hey, I got the apartment!

deej.. (deej..), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 21:06 (nineteen years ago)

deej.. (deej..), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 21:09 (nineteen years ago)

deej.. (deej..), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 21:35 (nineteen years ago)

Still at work. :(

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 21:38 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, mee 2.

this, however, is the crucial moment from the libertine's point of view (kenan), Wednesday, 18 October 2006 21:38 (nineteen years ago)

I R JELLUS OF ALL THE ZIP LINES

Me too, actually. I once wired my upstairs bedroom so I could send Luke Skywalker action figures down the stairs on a thread, but that's as much as I got.

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:27 (nineteen years ago)

I'm jealous of all the everything! I had a nice backyard with nothing in it but snakes. And no one to play with ;_; BOOHOO

The Milkmaid (82375538-A) (The Milkmaid), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:28 (nineteen years ago)

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:29 (nineteen years ago)

Whereas I had a pony... and JUST LOOK AT ME!

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:30 (nineteen years ago)

We had (actually, still have) a giant pile of mine wasterock about the size of a city block from the mine that used to be across the street from our house (120 years ago or so). Many, many days were spent crawling over that thing, finding abandoned beer, porn, etc. Good fucking times.

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:30 (nineteen years ago)

A favorite childhood thing: walking into the woods for about a half a mile, and visiting the old cemetery. There was still red carpet on the ground, and the rose bushes were out of control. As were the Crepe Myrtles.

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:33 (nineteen years ago)

Goth-O-Rama!

Laurel (Laurel), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:36 (nineteen years ago)

No joke.

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:37 (nineteen years ago)

LOL @ the message from the Director of the Press telling us that we were free to leave at 3 today -- that showed up in my inbox marked as Junk Mail.

Also, laughing with bitter regret that there's no way I can leave at 3.

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:38 (nineteen years ago)

Commiseration, dude.

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:40 (nineteen years ago)

Sweet Tater (kelstarry), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:40 (nineteen years ago)

Sweet Tater (kelstarry), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:42 (nineteen years ago)

What does it say about us that all we want from work is to not do it?

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 18:58 (nineteen years ago)

i don't mind being here or doing the work or whatever . . . i am just having the jitters that come from having time off.

Sweet Tater (kelstarry), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:02 (nineteen years ago)

I want to do the work, so I can go the home!

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:03 (nineteen years ago)

i know this should have been obvious, but don't buy canned tuna salad.

Sweet Tater (kelstarry), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:20 (nineteen years ago)

Mmmmm I made some delish tuna salad sandwiches the other night. Dill pickles are so key. Capers are tasty too. It's a wonderland of flavor.

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:21 (nineteen years ago)

I have to stay until 5:00 (and really I should stay til 5:30 'cause I took a long lunch, but screw that), but who cares, today is Friday!

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:32 (nineteen years ago)

i make a great tuna salad with artichoke hearts in it.

Sweet Tater (kelstarry), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:33 (nineteen years ago)

I just ate the last piece of Mixed Berry Crumble Pie from this place.

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:37 (nineteen years ago)

Sweet Tater (kelstarry), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:40 (nineteen years ago)

There's a lot you don't know about me. I fucking ROCK.

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:42 (nineteen years ago)

And it was very good pie, thanks.

sinshine (kenan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:42 (nineteen years ago)

I am wearing a Sarah skirt on my birthday.

Party Time Country Female (pullapartgirl), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:45 (nineteen years ago)

I didn't realize they had a restaurant??

I'm Fuzzy (coco), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:50 (nineteen years ago)

Also, yay, Jenny! I'm so glad I could spend my wonderful fashion sense to the rest of the city. ha ha

Well, a coworker gave me permission to leave and then left herself, so I'm THE ONLY PERSON HERE. I tried calling Nickarama but his cell went to vm. If I don't hear from him soon, I will begin walking I suppose. Or.. I could just read more of Poisonwood Bible. hmmm.

I'm Fuzzy (coco), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:51 (nineteen years ago)

why not just take off? read yer book in a coffee shop or something? i am considering leaving 30 minutes earlier than i planned b/c i am very restless!

Sweet Tater (kelstarry), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:53 (nineteen years ago)

spend= spread

Maybe I will...

I'm Fuzzy (coco), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:53 (nineteen years ago)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNY.

Juulia (julesbdules), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 19:59 (nineteen years ago)

i think my thanksgiving plans just changed. from a friend of mine via gmail... Then I’m going to meet up with a flight attendant friend who has a long layover downtown. She’s the wildest woman I know. We were in Baltimore together. She’s the one who taught me how to party, so I can’t wait to hang out with her again! So I thought that I would see if you wanted to join us...

otto midnight (otto midnight), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 20:06 (nineteen years ago)

I want to go hooooooooooohohohohohome. There is a Wii to play with there!

xpost: "wildest woman I know" -- be wary of these words, mon frere

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 20:07 (nineteen years ago)

dan, you know the friend who sent the email. she also mentioned that her boyfriend would be with family in michigan. so it looks like i'll be partying at a hotel somewhere downtown.

otto midnight (otto midnight), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 20:11 (nineteen years ago)

this weekend has "overdose" written all over it.

otto midnight (otto midnight), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 20:12 (nineteen years ago)

Party Time Country Female (pullapartgirl), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 20:16 (nineteen years ago)

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 20:30 (nineteen years ago)

Dan you have wii????

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 20:45 (nineteen years ago)

Housemate has Wii, but he is teh GONE HOME.

I don't know if I'll be able to mess with it tonight, though. I have tentative plans to go out for a bit.

daniel striped tiger (OutDatWay), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 21:25 (nineteen years ago)

Happy Bday Jenny. Green bean casserole is way easy to make. If I had realized just HOW easy I would have been making it all year round and would certainly not have bought it frozen like I did last summer. I had a treehouse too. No pony, but I did have a horse once. And another time I had a mule. My dad kept a few mules during my early years. I miss the riding. Happy Thanksgiving.

pens, action figures and glass shards (unclejessjess), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 23:22 (nineteen years ago)

Cusps.

I am not a cusp. I'm all Taurus.

*snort*

pens, action figures and glass shards (unclejessjess), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 23:23 (nineteen years ago)

According to that, I'm not a cusper. Too late.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 22 November 2006 23:27 (nineteen years ago)

too late for what?

Happy bday Jenny.

Scorpio is the sign of sex and death, the beginning and ending, and they explore these ideas from an emotional standpoint. Libra/Scorpios strive to create balance and harmony between self and other through investigation and probing. They are often strongly intuitive and penetrating.

WATCH OUT, LADEEEZ. I'M STRONGLY PENETRATING.

sinshine (kenan), Thursday, 23 November 2006 01:29 (nineteen years ago)

Two days too late to be a cusper. Born on the 25th.

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 23 November 2006 01:44 (nineteen years ago)

I have been in my pajamas since 7:30.

n/a (Nick A.), Thursday, 23 November 2006 02:30 (nineteen years ago)

We went to the grocery store after the gym after work today. Bad idea. I kind of went crazy there for a little while. So I needed to unwind. Hence two beers, hot bath, pajamas.
