Let's detail the costumes:

I have gotten one so far - a pirate.

I am now at home trying to keep two pirates from eating all their candy.

Dude. Like an hour and a half and only one trick or treater. This is some bullshit.

Ah well. Might as well get drunk.

We got only our niece, dressed as a girl from High School Musical. What is that? Very vampish, red and black. We were prepared with Hershey's kisses and mini Reese's cups.

The rest of the candy can go to my 24-year-old son, who is re-shingling a house around the corner and comes here for lunch.

And we have kids in our neighboorhood, too! Damn the long, winding front walk to the "front" door which is actually on the side of the house. Damn you all to a candy-filled hell.

Seriously. I don't need a jump-start on the holiday weight gain. Kids - come and get this free sugar. Now.

I bought lollies because I was suprised* to see kids walking up and down my street in costumes. SO I got lollies and then no one buzzed my door anyway. Oh well.

*being in australia and all.
