That porn documentary on PBS

Is anybody else watching this? They were just covering the making of a porno depicting a woman being kidnapped and raped. I can't believe they have this on PBS. I'm in favor of it (them being able to have this kind of show, that is), but, wow, I didn't think you could get away with this sort of thing in the FCC'd USA.

It's been pointed out that ILM and ILE are segregating into US and UK boards respectively. This thread shows how different US and UK attitudes are. Dan's puritan disbelief that PBS would show 'this sort of thing' will be met, if he switches to the Hardcore Porn thread over on ILE, with lurid celebrations of pee trickling down Kate Winslett's inner thigh.

Dan's puritan disbelief that PBS would show 'this sort of thing'; now hold on, this wasn't me expressing my own "puritan disbelief" so much as me radically misguessing the level of puritanism held by the rest of the US.
