I may just go get one today. I am in a junk food mood. Thoughts?

Its processed pork shaped like a slab of ribs. I never got what is so facsinating about that.

I'll always associate the McRib with pregnancy. J and I had gone for a quick lunch at the only place we had enough time to get in and out before getting back to work, and that's where she told me she was expecting. I had a McRib...I think it was the only time I had one.

This sandwich makes me think of jess, a man I've never met.

The McRib is nothing compared to the McLobster.

the McLobster.

Does this actually exist or are you toying with my emotions?

Django Blowhardt (Rock Hardy), Wednesday, 8 November 2006 00:54 (nineteen years ago)

oh, it does.

Where do I go for one, and is it worth it?

Django Blowhardt (Rock Hardy), Wednesday, 8 November 2006 00:57 (nineteen years ago)

Canada, east coast, and i don't know - too scared by the concept.

100% Lobster Meat

Is the BUN made of lobster?

diebold with a vengeance (nickalicious), Wednesday, 8 November 2006 01:02 (nineteen years ago)

wikipedia:

In some locations in the Maritime Provinces of Canada and in the northeastern United States, McDonald's offers a lobster roll called a McLobster (McHomard in French).

I didn't find out about the McD's green chile burger until after I'd driven through New Mexico in 2001. :(((

they were sooo much better when they first came out, seriously the mcrib figures heavily in my visions of childhood idyll(simpsons episode otm) but I tried it again sometime in the 90's and it was shit(it was always shit but it used to taste good, you know). Totally different formula, I'd swear by it.
I don't eat pork anymore ALAS.

Pasta Zoo Happy Meal (Australia only): Available in Australia, the meal includes 10 Pasta pieces with Zoo Goo (Cheese), Italian sauce, pair of small plastic tongs, a toy, and a milk drink with a 'Sipaah' flavoured straw. It is aimed to be a healthier alternative to the current Cheeseburger or McNuggets Happy Meal.

http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/the-exchange/why-burger-king-copying-mcdonald-sandwich-172120222.html

Burger King’s (BKW) summer menu this year will feature a rib sandwich clearly modeled after McDonald’s (MCD) famous McRib smashup. The item is brand new for Burger King, which plans to differentiate its pork pile by serving it on an "artisanal bun," while topping it with "sweet and tangy" barbecue sauce and "crispy bread and butter pickles."
