In maybe around Montmartre last year when I was there there was something like this on a group of derelict buildings, I will try and find the bad photo we took tonight.

The photo we took didn't work out very well, I think we were drunk or something, but i will try to find.

Was it very obvious that you could potentially line everything up? What I mean is -- could you tell there was a specific ideal vantage point?

yeah.

I think our photo might demonstrate how he did it rather than the (awes) result.

Also, iirc, the tape covered a larger area than what is seen in that photo.

It was tape, was it?

umm, yeah it was probably paint.

That's what I figured initially, but I wasn't sure.

But I think it was tape-y in places, like on that street sign. Also, I believe that might be Gare du Nord in the background, ie pretty seedy area of Paris.
