wrong wrong wrong. unless you have already dyed hair and that hair colour has red in it, in which case, bleach away.

here's how to get playboy blonde:

Use l'oreal preference LB01 Extra Light Ash Blonde. It wont go grey, just pale, and oddly its lighter than l'oreal's 'Lightest Ash Blonde'.

When you wash your hair use Pantene Blonde Expressions conditioner in Platimun to Sand Dune.

Follow every condition with John Frieda's sheer blonde Luminous Color Glaze in platinum blonde.

When styling your hair use Pantene Ice Shine mousse.

Finish with Redken 'Glass' smoothing serum.

Yeah, exactly, doing that is basically why I had to chop 12 inches of hair off a few months ago, it's not a fantastic idea. I might try it again someday (re: the OTC hair-dyes) since I'm starting to lose a lot of the red in my antiquity, but never again with the blue bleaching and toners.
